A tactile display for dynamically reproducing content from an electronic device, such as a computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device, in a touch-sensory format, such as Braille. The tactile display includes a housing and a plurality of tactile elements. The tactile elements are movable relative to the housing between an extended position for engagement by a user and a retracted position at or inward of a surface of the housing.

Refreshable tactile display

A refreshable Braille display that connects to computers and serves as a computer monitor for sight impaired people. Integrated within the display are mechanical pins that are activated by either stationary or mobile actuators, such as coils or solenoids. These pins either move rotationally or vertically when activated by the actuators. Spacing of these pins is tight enough to display graphics. Additionally, the pins are arranged such that various heights of the pins enable 3D graphics.

Refreshable Braille display

An apparatus for separating and sizing particulate matter, comprising a main frame, infeed conveyor, collection conveyor and a screening assembly including a frame, screen, and an underscreen conveyor mounted underneath the screen. In exemplary embodiments at least one crusher is included. The apparatus converts configuration from a transport mode to an operating mode. Material deposited onto the infeed conveyor is moved forward into the screening assembly. Material falling through the screen is deflected by a deflector onto a collection conveyor. Material passing over the screen drops into the crusher and crushed material drops onto the collection conveyor. Material on the collection conveyor is conveyed to a discharge location. The apparatus components are arranged such that material moves in a uni-directional flow through the apparatus without reversing direction. The apparatus may be mounted on a mobilizing assembly, such as one including endless tracks or wheels, for portability.

Apparatus for sizing and separating particulate material

A blockage clearance apparatus for a crusher that has a housing and a lid and at least one anvil mounted to the lid for crushing material. The housing contains a rotatable rotor with radial blow bars against which crushable materials are forced during operation. In operation, the materials are fed into the crusher, impacted by at least two blow bars and thrown against at least one anvil for crushing. The blockage clearance apparatus includes means for moving the lid and the anvil relative to the rotor during operation, means for inhibiting the material in the housing from exiting the housing when the lid is spaced from the housing during operation, and means for stopping movement of the lid relative to the rotor.

Lifting lid crusher

A screening machine on a frame with a hopper having a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt discharges particulate material poured into the hopper into a rotating barrel screen or vibrating planar screen for sifting the material. A hammermill apparatus is pivotably mounted on a hood member to an arm that is pivotably mounted to the frame of the machine. The hammermill is positioned above the conveyor belt at the discharge end. The hammermill can pivot upwardly relative to the arm upon striking a large object on the conveyor belt, and a spring mounted to the arm and the hood biases the hammermill back to its original position. A hydraulic ram is drivingly linked to the arm for manually or automatically displacing the hammermill relative to the conveyor belt.

A mobile screening machine with a frame on tracks, having a hopper and a main conveyor mounted to a frame. The main conveyor conveys particulate matter from the hopper to a screening device positioned beneath the upper end of the main conveyor. The particulate is screened into three grades of coarseness, with the coarsest falling into a chute, the middle coarseness falling onto one lateral conveyor and the finest falling onto an underscreen conveyor, which preferably is driven downhill onto another lateral conveyor. The tracks permit the machine to be driven around the work site and onto and off of a trailer, and the entire machine can be remotely controlled. The downhill conveyor permits loading of the hopper from both sides of the frame.

Screening machine

A vibration-reducing eccentric weight system mounted to the driveshaft of a screen box in a portable screening plant with the eccentric weight system's center of gravity on the driveshaft's axis of rotation. The eccentric weight system includes a weight that is radially slidably mounted to the driveshaft, but biased so that its center of gravity is spaced from the driveshaft's axis of rotation during slow and no rotation. Upon rotation above a preselected speed, the centrifugal force displaces the weight radially outwardly. This causes a gradually increasing vibration corresponding to gradually increasing distance between the weight's center of gravity and the driveshaft's axis of rotation.

Displaceable eccentric for vibratory screen

A screening plant including a housing to which first and second screen boxes are reciprocatably mounted. The screen boxes are coplanar and the inner peripheral edge of the first box is adjacent the inner peripheral edge of the second box. Separate prime movers, such as hydraulic motors, are drivingly linked to the independently mounted screen boxes. The screen boxes are separated by a gap over which a beveled cap is mounted.
