An air flush system for a spraying system includes an air compressor unit and an inverter. The air compressor unit integrally comprises a compressor including an electric motor configured to operate upon receipt of alternating current voltage, a tank provided in fluid communication with the compressor and configured to store air compressed by the compressor; and an outlet provided in fluid communication with the tank and configured to selectively dispense compressed air from the tank to a portion of a spraying system to facilitate purging of material from the spraying system. The inverter is configured to selectively convert direct current voltage from a vehicular electrical system into alternating current voltage suitable to operate the compressor. A method for cleaning a spraying apparatus is also provided.

Adjustable discharge apparatus include a first conduit apparatus with a first conduit section extending along an arcuate path about a pivot axis. A second conduit apparatus is pivotally mounted about the pivot axis in a telescoping relationship with the first conduit apparatus. Adjustable discharge apparatus kits are also provided with a first conduit apparatus, a second conduit apparatus and a third conduit apparatus. The second and third conduit apparatus of the kit are for selective mounting to the first conduit apparatus.

Adjustable discharge apparatus

Bulk material discharge assemblies comprise a bulk material hopper, a conduit for delivering an air stream to entrain with bulk material from the bulk material hopper, and a feeding apparatus for introducing additive to the conduit. The feeding apparatus comprises an additive hopper and an airlock positioned adjacent the conduit. In addition, metering apparatus are provided that comprise an axle and first and second metering wheels. A noncircular perimeter of the axle and the shape of each hub opening of each of the metering wheels cooperate to nonrotatably mount each metering wheel to the axle. The first and second metering wheel are adapted to be selectively mounted in at least one of a first relative position and a second relative position. Still further, apparatus for dispensing additive are provided that comprise an additive hopper including at least one partition for dividing the additive hopper into at least two containment areas that are substantially isolated from one another and a metering device mounted to the additive hopper.

Bulk material discharge assembly with feeding apparatus

A discharge apparatus for connection to and covering an airlock material outlet. The discharge apparatus includes an air inlet for at least substantially directing an airstream through an airlock material outlet and toward an interior area defined by an airlock. The discharge apparatus further includes a material directing trough for receiving an airstream and bulk material entrained therein from the airlock. The discharge apparatus also includes an extension member adapted to at least partially define a path of an airstream.

Discharge apparatus adapted to distribute material

A hydraulic system comprises a variable displacement pump. The hydraulic system includes a first device capable of being hydraulically powered by the pump and a reversing device adapted to cause the first device to autoreverse. The hydraulic system also includes an isolation device adapted to prevent pressure surges resulting from a source other than the first device from actuating the reversing device, thereby preventing undesirable autoreversing of the first device.

An apparatus and method for conveying and discharging bulk material including a material feed hopper, a screw conveyor, a transition area and a rotary air valve. The feed hopper is divided by a diverter which distributes feed material into the two ends of a trough having a converging screw conveyor. The converging screw conveyor distributes feed material into a transitional holding area for feeding into a rotary air valve. The rotary air valve has a helical vane design and is equipped with at least one cutting knife to control the amount of bulk material distributed in the pockets between the vanes. A blower provides pressurized air flow into and through the rotary air valve. The pressurized air carries the bulk material from the rotary valve through a conduit to discharge the bulk material at a remote distance.
