A mist delivery system includes an enclosure having at least one misting nozzle coupled thereto. The enclosure includes a primary wall and a secondary wall, whereby an air channel is defined between the primary wall and the secondary wall. A controller directs misted air through the misting nozzle and further activates an air flow system such that misted air within the shower area flows through and is dried in the air channel.

Mist delivery system

A lavatory complex for an aircraft. The lavatory complex includes a male lavatory facility and a female lavatory facility. The male lavatory facility includes stall units and may include urinals. The female lavatory facility includes stall units. Each stall unit suitably includes a single commode. The male and female lavatory facilities include at least one sink separated from the stall units by stall unit doors. The lavatory complex may include sinks that are not located within either the male or female lavatory facilities. A lavatory may include illuminating indicators; an illuminated, folding, baby changing station; a vanity; a self-cleaning toilet; and/or an illuminated faucet.

Aircraft lavatory

A shower system includes a shower area defined by a shower stall or primary wall having at least one misting nozzle coupled thereto. The primary wall is enclosed by a shower stall housing or a secondary wall, whereby an air channel is defined between the shower stall and the shower stall housing. A controller directs misted air through the misting nozzle and further activates an air flow system such that misted air within the shower area flows through and is dried in the air channel.

Shower system

A door strike apparatus for enabling opening of a door in the event of a decompression condition experienced within a flight deck area includes a housing supported adjacent the door and a strike arm movable between a locked state restricting rotation of the door and an unlocked state permitting rotation of the door. A solenoid having a lock member retracted from the strike arm when the strike arm is in the unlocked state and engaged with the strike arm when the strike arm is in the locked state. The solenoid is responsive to the decompression condition and selectively toggles the lock member out of engagement with the strike arm to permit automatic unlocking of the strike arm and opening of the door under the decompression condition and into engagement with the strike arm to permit selective locking of the door when the decompression condition is absent.
