The device may include at least one applier. In particular embodiments the applier is an interchangeable applier removably coupled to the interconnect end. The result may be an improved device and method for applying/manipulating a polymer asphalt binder and construction aggregate composition at a proper application temperature.

Methods, systems, and devices for reserving a reservable asset using a mobile device. A mobile device communicates directly with a vehicle-associated control module or through a reservation server using either a TCP/IP communications channel or near-field communications. A member enters a request using the user interface provided by the mobile-device application. The identity of the member is validated the vehicle-associated control module executes the request by sending a signal to a computer or sensor in the vehicle through the vehicle wiring or the vehicle CANbus. The request can be a function, such as unlocking the vehicle doors, illuminating the interior or exterior lights, honking the horn, or activating a panic alarm.

A solar collector assembly includes a photovoltaic panel having first and second sides, a frame, and a first gas-filled chamber on the first side of the photovoltaic panel. The first gas-filled chamber is at least partially defined by a portion of the frame and by a portion of the first side of the photovoltaic panel. A gas functions as a heat exchange fluid and collects heat from solar energy and/or heat generated by the photovoltaic panel. The photovoltaic panel accumulates and converts solar energy to electrical energy. The solar collector assembly may include a second gas-filled chamber provided on the second side of the photovoltaic panel. The second gas-filled chamber is at least partially defined by a portion of the frame and by a portion of the second side of the photovoltaic panel. Solar collector systems and methods of generating electrical energy and/or thermal energy are also described.

A method of forming paneled corners including the step of providing first and second components. The first components can each have a pair of first legs forming an exterior angle of greater than 180 degrees, and can have a first connector. The second components can each have a pair of second legs forming an interior angle of less than 180, and can have a second connector. The method can further include the steps of choosing an outside corner from an outside corner and an inside corner, selecting one of the first components, placing the one first component over the outside corner, securing the one first component, placing panels on the first legs, selecting one of the second components, pushing the one second component onto the one first selected component to engage their respective second and first connectors, thereby capturing the edges of the two panels.

Method of forming paneled corners

A method, apparatus and computer readable medium for call quality testing is presented. A query is transmitted over a communications network from a first location to a second location. The query results in an audio signal at the second location, which is received at the first location. The audio signal is analyzed by comparing the signal with a reference signal clip. A statistical parameter is generated, the statistical parameter indicative of a quality of the received signal.

A soffit system is disclosed and has elongate first and second soffit components. Each soffit component includes a support flange and a sidewall integrally connected to one another along a lengthwise joint. A connector is carried on each of the sidewalls. A connector leg is carried on each of the sidewalls that is spaced from and parallel to the second joint. The connector and the connector leg extend in a lengthwise direction. Each sidewall is oriented at a non-parallel angle relative to each support flange, respectively. The first connector and the second connector are pushed toward one another to selectively join the first and second soffit components, and are pulled apart to separate the first and second soffit components.

A corner connector device has outside and inside connector components each having a length. The outside component has first and second legs integrally connected along a lengthwise seam. The outside connecter component has an outside connector that extends lengthwise along the seam and projects from an outside surface. The inside connector component has third and fourth legs integrally connected along a lengthwise seam. The inside connector component has an inside connector that extends along the seam and projects from an inside surface. The inside and outside connectors can be lengthwise connected to and disconnected from one another with surfaces of the connector components spaced a distance from one another. Panels meeting at a corner can be captured between the spaced surfaces of the two connector components.

Additionally, a virtual telephone caller system is provided to test the IVR of a contact center, wherein the virtual telephone caller system operates with voice-capable markup language software scripts.

A process of pre-applying a vapor, water and ice layer to a sheathing panel before the sheathing panel is assembled onto rafters of a roof is disclosed, comprising the steps of positioning a face of the sheathing panel for accessibility, removing a plastic film from the vapor, water and ice layer, thereby exposing an adhesive surface of the vapor, water and ice layer, joining the adhesive surface of the vapor, and water and ice layer to the face of the sheathing panel to form an assembly, thereafter, transporting the assembly to the roof, and securing the assembly to the rafters of the roof. An article of manufacture for reducing water and ice damage caused by an ice dam on a roof is disclosed, wherein the article of manufacture is pre-assembled prior to assembly to rafters of the roof, comprising a sheathing panel for assembling on the rafters of the roof having a first face and a second face, a vapor, water and ice layer having a first side and a second side, the second side having a plastic film covering an adhesive backing, means for removing the plastic film to expose the adhesive backing and means for assembling the vapor, water and ice layer to the sheathing panel, wherein the second side of the vapor, water and ice layer having the adhesive backing is placed onto the first face of sheathing panel before assembly of the sheathing panel to the rafters of the roof.

A fume exhaust duct joint, a clamping collar for clamping two cylindrical dual-laminate duct sections joined by an internal slip collar, and a method for assembling the joint. A first embodiment of the clamping collar has two clamp portions each including a metal outer skin spot-welded to a metal inner skin. The inner skins have bifurcated protrusions whose bifurcations penetrate the duct section outer surfaces when the collar is tightened, and, optionally, two circumferential beads of fire retardant caulking. The inner skins and slip collar are bonded to duct section surfaces using a putty-like sealant including a settable admixture of curing agent and novolac epoxy resin. A second embodiment of the clamping collar, preferred for duct sections 3-inches in diameter or smaller, has a single circumferential clamp portion.
