A secure processor such as a trusted platform module supports multiple security functions within a single secure processing environment. For example, the secure processor may be configured to perform functions in accordance with the TPM specification and to perform other, non-TPM, security functions. These security functions may be operated independently such that the operation of one security function does not violate or compromising the security of other security functions.

Secure processor supporting multiple security functions

A secure processor such as a TPM generates one-time-passwords used to authenticate a communication device to a service provider. In some embodiments the TPM maintains one-time-password data and performs the one-time-password algorithm within a secure boundary associated with the TPM. In some embodiments the TPM generates one-time-password data structures and associated parent keys and manages the parent keys in the same manner it manages standard TPM keys.

System and method for securely provisioning and generating one-time-passwords in a remote device

An aerobic system provided to treat sewage generated by a modern larger home which does not have access to a municipal sewage connection The features of this system are adaptable to upgrade and/or replace existing systems. In a preferred embodiment the system uses two 1000 gallon tanks, a first pretreatment tank to receive raw sewage, remove settleable and floatable solids from the sewage, and discharge into a second tank in which the pool of sewage is aerated. The second tank contains a motor driven aerator and a unique self-cleaning filter driven by an outgoing liquid stream from the aerator. After passing through the filter, the liquid is then discharged into a leaching field or nearby stream as permitted by the proper regulatory agency. The self-cleaning rotating filter features a rotating drive energized from the pressurized stream of liquid ejecting from the aerator and impinging upon a side of the filter structure (similarly to a paddle wheel), rotating the filter assembly about its supporting tube as the stream enters spaces between blades of the filter structure, also impinging upon, and passing through a filter cloth, leaving particulate matter on the impinged side of the cloth to be brushed away into the pool of sewage undergoing aeration, during rotation of the filter structure.

Aerobic sewage system

An aerobic sewage treatment method and system includes a tank divided by a baffle into at least a treatment chamber and a settling chamber. A return flow pipe at the normal liquid level, from the settling chamber into the aerating chamber, has on its treatment chamber side a tee fitting aimed to the side of the treatment chamber, along the baffle separating it from the settling chamber. Floating particles near the settling chamber discharge thus flow back into the treatment chamber for further aeration and reduction. Flow through such return pipe is induced by a stream from the aerating unit directed against the surface of the turned end of the return pipe, whereby some of that flow moves along the pipe and draws a return flow into the aerating chamber. The stream for causing this return flow is obtained from the discharge of an improved aerating unit which discharges a few directed streams, as opposed to an annular stream of greater velocity but lesser total mass flow. This multiple stream flow is obtained by a unique deflector incorporated into the housing of the aerating unit, near its top and just above several circumferentially spaced discharge openings through the upper side wall of the housing. Rotational positioning of the unit within the treatment chamber locates the desired flow streams from these openings to interact with the return pipe from the settling chamber.

Aerobic sewage treatment system

Method and apparatus for static fatigue testing of ceramic material is described wherein a thin plate of ceramic material is supported at opposite ends thereof in a liquid sodium bath inside an enclosure containing a gaseous atmosphere inert to reaction with liquid sodium, the ceramic plate and sodium bath are controllably heated to preselected temperature, known loads are applied to the ceramic plate through a loading head having a pair of contact points on the ceramic plate intermediate its opposite ends within the sodium bath, and displacements of the loading head at corresponding loads are measured to generate output signals characteristic of loads on the ceramic plate.

An aerobic sewage digestion system has a tank including a treatment chamber 16 with a floor, sides, and a top, a sewage inlet into the treatment chamber and an access port means 19 at the top of the treatment chamber located centrally thereof. An agitating and aerating unit, suspended from the access port, includes an elongated generally cylindrical housing 22 having open ends and means 47 for supporting the housing from the access port in a vertical orientation within a pool of sewage contained in the treatment chamber, the housing being in predetermined spaced relation to the floor of the treatment chamber. An electric drive motor 25 having a closed casing is mounted within the housing with its rotatable output shaft 28 extending upwardly through the casing, and a motor mounting plate 26 fastened between the housing and the motor casing. A propeller 38 having a hub fixed to the shaft above the plate and within the housing, is operable when rotated to move sewage upward through the housing from the floor of the treatment chamber, and a deflector 40 supported adjacent the uppermost end of the housing directs flow from the propeller outward into the treatment chamber. An air induction tube 57 has an open end 58 located in close proximity to the hub and extends through the access port to the exterior of the chamber whereby rotation of the propeller produces cavitation adjacent the hub at the location of the open end of the air induction tube, drawing air into the recirculating flow of sewage within the chamber.
