A hinge-lid container comprises a resealable package of consumer goods, the package having an opening through which consumer goods can be removed; and a self-adhesive reclosable sticker covering the opening of the package and extending beyond the periphery of the opening of the package. The sticker comprises a first and a second layer of labelling web material. The first layer is affixed to the package by a first adhesive provided on the inner surface of the first layer extending about at least a sealing portion of the package at the periphery of the opening. The first layer comprises a cut-out aligned with the opening of the package. The second layer is at least partially releasably affixed to the first layer by a second adhesive provided on a first area of the inner surface of the second layer extending about at least the lower periphery of the cut-out of the first layer. The second adhesive is a removable adhesive and a peel strength for peeling the first layer from the package is greater than a peel strength for peeling the second layer from the first layer. The second layer of the self-adhesive reclosable sticker is permanently affixed to the inner surface of the lid.

A smoking article includes a contoured filter element having a cylindrical rod end portion and a cylindrical mouth end portion and a contoured portion between the cylindrical rod end portion and the cylindrical mouth end portion. The mouth end portion further includes a peripheral region disposed about the outer surface of the central filter plug. The peripheral region may include one or more channels through which smoke may flow. The smoking article includes an exterior wrap that is disposed about the peripheral region of the mouth end filter portion. The permeability of smoke through the peripheral region is five times or more greater than the permeability of smoke through the central filter plug. By increasing the permeability of smoke around the central filter plug, less smoke travels through the central filter plug in the mouth end portion and less staining of the mouth end of the central filter plug results.
