The invention is based on a dust container of a portable power tool for receiving machining residues of a portable power tool (), comprising a container () predetermining a receiving volume (). It is proposed that the container () have a variation means () for varying the size of the receiving volume ().

A dust-collecting receptacle for an electric hand machine tool, in particular an electric hand grinder, having a dust-collecting chamber (), an inlet fitting (), an exhaust opening (), and a dust filter () situated between the dust-collecting chamber () and the exhaust opening (). To achieve a compact design of the dust-collecting receptacle () that on the one hand, does not impair operation of the electric hand grinder or only does so to an insignificant degree and on the other hand, has a high dust-collecting efficiency, the inlet fitting (), the dust-collecting chamber (), the dust filter (), and the exhaust opening () are situated one above another and preferably, the form of the dust-collecting receptacle () is adapted to the outer contour of the electric hand machine tool (FIG.).

A hand power tool (), in particular with integrated dust removal, that comprises a housing () on which a dust tube () is mounted that is capable of being interconnected with a dust box () by means of its dust inlet connection piece (), whereby a side wall () of the dust box () has through holes () that are reached over by a filter in dust-tight fashion, becomes less expensive and more environmentally friendly by the fact that the filter () is formed by a flat sheet composed of a fine-pored material, the surface area of which is increased by means of certain structures.

A dust and chip removal device for sanding hand power tools has a storage container securable to a hand power tool, a transport channel via which dust and chips are directed into the storage container, a retaining element preventing the dust and chips from flowing back out of the storage container, the retaining element having at least one passage, an elastic element which has a holding force closing the at least one passage, the passage being openable automatically against the holding force at starting at a certain delivery pressure, while the elastic element automatically closes the passage below a certain delivery pressure, and a channel having cross-sectional area which tapers toward the passage.
