Methods are provided for reducing body fat, volume of fat pads, and/or lipoma(s) in a subject. The methods as provided herein may include injecting a fat-sculpting liquid into a treatment region of the subject, wherein the fat-sculpting liquid has a temperature of &#x2212;25&#xb0; C. to 10&#xb0; C. when injected and is substantially free of frozen particulates. The methods for reducing body fat in a subject may further include injecting a fat-sculpting liquid comprising saline and benzyl alcohol into a treatment region of the subject, wherein the fat-sculpting liquid has a temperature of &#x2212;15&#xb0; C. to 5&#xb0; C. when injected and is substantially free of frozen particulates.

Methods for reducing body fat in a subject

The present invention belongs, in a general manner to the technological field of the pharmaceutical industry and relates, more specifically, to one or more compositions of second use to be destined for the treatment of melasma. The present invention relates to the use of substances belonging to the group of alpha-adrenergic receptor agonists, in different variable concentrations, for treating conditions of melasma upon human skin. Furthermore, the present invention discloses pharmaceutical compositions, the latter being associated or not with other compounds or methods of treatment, to be utilised for the treatment of melasma.

Use of an active substance in the treatment of melasma

The present invention pertains to the technological sector of the pharmaceutical industry and, more specifically, refers to a second use composition intended for the treatment of a dermatology condition called Poikiloderma of Civatte. The solution proposed in this document is the use of a topical composition containing any substance alone or in combination from the pharmacological group of alpha-adrenergic receptor agonists in therapeutic quantities to treat color of the lesions of Poikiloderma of Civatte. The application of this composition for the condition of Poikiloderma of Civatte results in significant improvement of the color of the skin lesions, also improving the vascular component present in this condition and can be associated with other compounds.

Use of pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of skin erythema in poikilodermas

Methods relating to local or 'intralesional' injections of corticosteroids are provided. More specifically injections of corticosteroids and preferably Triamcinolone and its derivatives are suitable to produce medicaments to be injected in the subcutaneous fat at deep levels to provoke to provoke cosmetic lipoatrophy of small fat deposits on the face and body.
