A high-speed wireless data system for providing services for either a public wireless network terminal or a private wireless network terminal, the system comprising: a base station for assigning an Unicast Access Terminal Identifier to each of terminals of the public wireless network and the private wireless network through a wireless channel to provide services of the high-speed wireless data system for each of the terminals; a base station controller for controlling implementation of different authentications for the terminals, assignment of an Unicast Access Terminal Identifier to each terminal, management of a session for each terminal, and data transmitted or received by each terminal; a private authentication system including an authentication database for authenticating the private wireless network terminal; a data location register including service information of the public wireless network terminal and information for receiving services from the private wireless network of the private wireless network terminal; and a hub for intermediating data between the base station, the base station controller, and the private authentication system, the hub discriminating between private wireless network services and public wireless network services by means of Unicast Access Terminal Identifiers received from the terminals.

Method and system for using either public or private networks in 1xEV-DO system

In a private wireless communication system and a mobile station (MS) control method using the same, the system informs an MS of its entrance into a private network using a system parameter message broadcast through a paging channel in order to control additional functions of the MS (e.g., a camera function, a MP3 player function, and a USB data communication function), and the MS transmits a registration message to the private wireless communication system through an access channel. The system determines whether the MS is registered in the private network based on the registration message from the MS, and if the MS is registered in the private network, controls the functions of the MS by writing a message for MS function control based on MS control information set in a database, and by and transmitting the MS function control message to the MS. After the system requests an acknowledgment message from the MS, if the acknowledgment message is not received from the MS, the private wireless communication system rewrites and retransmits the MS function control message to the MS.

Private wireless communication system and method for controlling mobile station using the same

An Evolution Data Only (EV-DO) service is provided by a network interfacing a wireless public network and a wired/wireless private network so that an EV-DO call is transmitted via the private network when an EV-DO service is intended to be provided via the private network. An arbitrary terminal sets up an identifier indicating which of the private and public networks is to transmit the EV-DO service and the identifier received from the arbitrary terminal is retrieved to request the EV-DO service via a corresponding network based on the retrieved identifier. Consequently, the EV-DO call is forwarded via the selected network, and since an EV-DO call is forwarded via the private network by modifying the system without changing each user terminal, no additional expense is necessary.

Providing evolution data only (EV-DO) service in network interfacing wireless public network and wired/wireless private network

An apparatus and method for processing a data call in a private EV-DO wireless network system construct a data location register (DLR) and AN_AAA, which are essential to an EV-DO wireless network configuration, in a private EV-DO wireless network to block an EV-DO terminal from maintaining a public network session and allow the EV-DO terminal to maintain only a private network session within a private area in building the private EV-DO wireless network in an area where security is required, so that the public network connection is not established. Thus, it is possible to prevent information outflow through the Internet with a public EV-DO wireless network connection, to limit private service with respect to a terminal having no permission, and to block in advance illegal information outflow through the Internet with a private EV-DO wireless network connection.

An Internet Protocol telephony exchange system and a call control method thereof. The exchange system integrates an IP terminal and a legacy terminal in a single exchange system, controls a call of the IP terminal in the same manner as an extension subscriber, and contains at least one IP terminal connected to the IP network. In a private wireless high-speed data system and data service method, a private pDLR for handling authentication of a terminal entering a private network and call processing is arranged in a private (premises) EV-DO wireless network and session information of the corresponding terminal is received from a data location register (DLR) of the public EV-DO network and is stored in a database of the private pDLR only when the terminal entering the private EV-DO wireless network requests the call connection for the first time, and the call authentication is performed. The call processing is performed using the session information for the corresponding terminal stored in the private pDLR in when the call connection is requested from the terminal entering the private network at least two or more times.
