A display device includes a substrate having a display area, in which an image is displayed, and a non-display area, in which no image is displayed. The non-display area is disposed on at least one side of the display area. A plurality of pixels is disposed in the display area. An encapsulation layer is disposed on the plurality of pixels. A dam unit is disposed in the non-display area. The dam unit includes a body part and a plurality of protrusions. Each of the plurality of protrusions protrudes from the body part.

Display device with structure for preventing organic material overflow

A display panel includes a first substrate having a display area and a peripheral area. The display area includes pixels with first output wires connected to the pixels. A first driver is connected to the first output wires and positioned in the peripheral area at a first side of the display area. The first substrate includes a notch portion having a curved edge and the display area has a first display portion and a second display portion with the notch portion therebetween. At least one of the first output wires is a first main line at the first display portion, a second main line at the second display portion, and a first connecting line that is connected to the first main line and the second main line and is at the peripheral area between the first display portion and the second display portion.

Display panel

A display device includes a substrate having a display area, in which an image is displayed, and a non-display area, in which no image is displayed. The non-display area is disposed on at least one side of the display area. A plurality of pixels is disposed in the display area. An encapsulation layer is disposed on the plurality of pixels. Adam unit is disposed in the non-display area. The dam unit includes a body part and a plurality of protrusions. Each of the plurality of protrusions protrudes from the body part.

A display device includes: a substrate; a transistor disposed on a first surface of the substrate; and a passivation layer disposed on a second surface of the substrate opposite from the first surface, wherein the passivation layer directly contacts the substrate, and the passivation layer includes a UV curable resin.

Display device with passivation layer that directly contacts the substrate and manufacturing method thereof

A display device includes: a first substrate including a display area and a non-display area bordering at least a portion of the display area; a first transistor disposed in the display area, and includes a semiconductor layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. A driving circuit is disposed in the non-display area, and includes a second transistor including a semiconductor layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. An insulating layer disposed between the source and drain electrodes of the second transistor and the source and drain electrodes of the first transistor over the second transistor; a signal transmission line disposed in the non-display area, and transmitting a signal to the driving circuit; a second substrate facing the first substrate; and a sealant disposed in the non-display area between the first substrate and the second substrate, and overlapping the second transistor. The structure of the display device provides a bezel with a reduced width and resistance to pixel damage during formation of the sealant.

Display device

A display device includes a flexible substrate including a bending area corresponding to an area at which the display device is bent, and a first area and a second area which is spaced apart from the first area by the bending area, a display element unit disposed in the first area of the flexible substrate; and a buffer member disposed in the bending area of the flexible substrate. The buffer member in the bending area includes: a first buffer member having a first maximum thickness, and a second buffer member having a second maximum thickness which is smaller than the first maximum thickness. Among the first buffer member and the second member, the first buffer member disposed closer to the first area and the second member disposed closer to the second area.

Flexible display device

A display device includes: a substrate including a display region and a bent region provided at a side of the display region; a first insulating layer provided on the bent region of the substrate; a second insulating layer provided on the first insulating layer, the second insulating layer including at least one opening; and a third insulating layer provided on the second insulating layer and the at least one opening, and a pixel unit to display an image is provided on the display region of the substrate.

A display device includes a substrate which includes a pixel region and a peripheral region which is provided on at least one side of the pixel region, a plurality of pixels provided in the pixel region, a passivation layer that disposed on the substrate, a light emitting element disposed on the passivation layer and which emits light, and a sealing member which covers the light emitting element. A thickness of the second electrode in the non-pixel region is different than a thickness of the second electrode in the pixel regions.
