A display device includes a plurality of substrate patterns which is disposed so as to correspond to each of the plurality of sub pixels and is formed of one of a transparent conducting oxide and an oxide semiconductor; a plurality of transistors which is disposed in each of the plurality of sub pixels above the plurality of substrate patterns; and a plurality of light emitting diodes which is connected to the plurality of substrates to be disposed in each of the plurality of sub pixels, the plurality of sub pixels includes a first sub pixel and a second sub pixel which emit different color light and among the plurality of substrate patterns, a thickness of a first substrate pattern corresponding to the first sub pixel and a thickness of a second substrate pattern corresponding to the second sub pixel are different from each other.

Display device

A display device is disclosed that includes one or more crack detection units. The crack detection units can detect a crack position in the display device without requiring the disassembly of the display device. The crack detection units may be disposed across one or more non-active areas of the display device.

A display system includes a first display coupled to a roller and a second display coupled to the roller such that the first and second displays can be rolled about the roller for storage and transportation and unrolled from the roller to form a large area display. The second rollable display can be rolled about the roller with a rear surface of the second rollable display in direct contact with an outer surface of the roller and the first rollable display can be rolled about the roller with a front surface of the first rollable display in direct contact with a front surface of the second rollable display. First and second flexible films, first and second source printed circuit boards, first and second flexible cables, and first and second control printed circuit boards can be located inside the roller.

The flexible display panel includes a display unit provided on a flexible substrate and a back cover disposed on a rear surface of the flexible display panel. The back cover includes a panel supporting part including a plurality of openings, having a size greater than a width of the flexible display panel, and supporting the flexible display panel, and a sidewall part protruding from each of one edge and another edge of the panel supporting part.

Flexible display apparatus and rollable display apparatus comprising the same

A flexible display panel is disclosed. The flexible display panel includes a substrate and a pixel unit on a first surface of the substrate. An encapsulation layer is on the first surface of the substrate and covers the pixel unit. A support member is on a second surface of the substrate that is opposite the first surface. The support member overlaps an edge of the encapsulation layer. The support member reduces stress applied to areas of the flexible display panel that are vulnerable to cracking during bending of the flexible display panel.

A flexible display is disclosed. The flexible display includes a substrate having a pixel array and a metal sheet disposed on the substrate and covering the pixel array. The metal sheet includes a groove that extends from one side to the other side of the metal sheet and has a predetermined depth. The groove includes at least one first groove extended in a first direction and at least one second groove extended in a second direction intersecting the first direction.

Flexible display

A rollable display apparatus includes a flexible display panel, a panel extension sheet connected to the flexible display panel, and a housing module. The flexible display panel is configured to be loaded into and unloaded from the housing module. The rollable display apparatus further includes a roller part in the housing module that has a double roller structure. The roller part is configured to individually wind and unwind each of the panel extension sheet and the flexible display panel.

A flexible organic light emitting device including a flexible substrate having an active area and a pad area; an organic light emitting diode layer disposed on the active area; an adhesive layer disposed on the organic light emitting diode layer; an encapsulation substrate disposed on the adhesive layer; a cover layer disposed between the active area and the pad area; and a back film disposed on a lower surface of the flexible substrate, further the encapsulation substrate has a curved upper surface outside the active area, also the cover layer decreases in thickness from the active area toward the pad area.

Organic light emitting display device

The present disclosure relates to a display panel having a gate driving circuit and a method of monitoring characteristics of the gate driving circuit, and the gate driving circuit includes a test transistor connected to at least one of a pull-up transistor and a pull-down transistor. The test transistor is turned on in response to a gate on voltage of a test enable signal generated in a measurement mode to form a closed loop including at least one of the pull-up transistor and the pull-down transistor.

An organic light emitting device includes a base substrate having an active area and a pad area, an organic light emitting diode layer disposed on the active area, an encapsulation substrate disposed on the organic light emitting diode layer, a signal pad disposed on the pad area, and a cover layer provided between the active area and the pad area. Further, the cover layer and a portion of the encapsulation substrate are provided outside the active area.

An organic light emitting display device is discussed. The organic light emitting display device according to an embodiment includes an organic light emitting diode layer provided at an active area of a base substrate; an encapsulation layer encapsulating the organic light emitting diode layer to protect the organic light emitting diode layer; an adhesive layer in the encapsulation layer and provided on the organic light emitting diode layer to cover upper and side surfaces of the organic light emitting diode layer; and an encapsulation substrate in the encapsulation layer and provided on the adhesive layer. The encapsulation substrate is provided to have different thicknesses at the active area and outside the active area.

There is provided a flexible display having a plurality of innovations configured to allow bending of a portion or portions to reduce apparent border size and/or utilize the side surface of an assembled flexible display.

Flexible display device with space reducing wire configuration

A display device including a bending sensor is provided. A display device including a bending sensor may include a flexible substrate including a display area and a bezel area surrounding the display area; and the bending sensor including a curved unit disposed in the bezel area and in which an electric change occurs when the flexible substrate is bent, and a detection unit detecting bending information by sensing the electric change.
