In response to a first channel associated with a first OLT and a second channel associated with a second OLT being enabled for target traffic, a traffic scheduler for scheduling the target traffic is determined by the first OLT. The first channel and the second channel correspond to a first wavelength and a second wavelength, respectively. The first OLT transmits channel configurations and offset information to an ONU, based on scheduling of a first group of data units and a second group of data units of the target traffic by the traffic scheduler on the first channel and the second channel, respectively. The channel configurations indicate channel identifications associated with the first channel and the second channel, and the offset information indicates timing information of the first group of data units and the second group of data units corresponding to physical frames transmitted on the first and second channels.

The method includes determining, at OLT, configuration information indicating a bandwidth allocation dedicated for an ONU and a first target preamble sequence associated with the bandwidth allocation, the first target preamble sequence to be used by the ONU for a transmission from the ONU to the OLT on a first wavelength; transmitting the configuration information to the ONU; and receiving the transmission from the ONU from the ONU on the first wavelength, the transmission is performed by the ONU based on the first target preamble sequence.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, device, and computer readable medium for channel equalization. The method comprises receiving, at a first device, a first signal from a second device via a plurality of subcarriers over a communication channel; sampling the first signal to obtain sampled symbols; and generating a second signal based on the obtained sampled symbols using a direct association between sampled symbols and payloads, the second signal indicating a payload of the first signal carried on an effective subcarrier of the plurality of subcarriers. Through the use of the direct association between sampled symbols and payloads, it is possible to achieve channel equalization in a less complicated, more reliable, and cost-effective manner, so as to extract the payload in the received signal.

The apparatus comprises: a receiving unit configured to receive a signal from a remote radio frequency unit (RRH), the RRH being independent from the signal processing apparatus; a processing unit configured to perform signal enhancement on the signal; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the enhanced signal to a baseband unit (BBU). According to the present disclosure, it is possible to implement a fronthaul or anyhaul solution with a high reliability, and meanwhile save the RF transmission power of the terminal device and reduce the operation costs of the operators.
