A display device includes a switching part and a first pixel circuit electrically connected to the switching part, and the switching part outputs a turn-off voltage to a first node in a first mode and outputs an initialization voltage to the first node in a second mode. The first pixel circuit includes a first transistor including a gate terminal electrically connected to the first node, a first terminal electrically connected to a second node, and a second terminal electrically connected to an organic light emitting diode and a second transistor including a gate terminal which receives a gate signal, a first terminal which receives a data voltage, and a second terminal electrically connected to the second node.

Display device with privacy mode

A display device includes a display panel including first to (m*n−1)pixel rows and a dummy pixel row, where each of m and n is a natural number greater than or equal to 2, an emission driver which provides emission signals to the first to (m*n−1)pixel rows and the dummy pixel row, and a timing controller which provides an emission start signal and a dummy start signal to the emission driver. Each of the emission signals includes a plurality of on-periods and a plurality of off-periods in one frame period, and time points of off-periods of an emission signal provided to the dummy pixel row are the same as time points of off-periods of an emission signal provided to each of k*npixel rows, where k is a natural number greater than or equal to 1 and less than m.
