A backlight module, including a light guide plate and a flexible circuit board, wherein an edge of the light guide plate is provided with plural light source mounting holes disposed along a thickness direction of the light guide plate; a light source is mounted in every light source mounting hole in such a manner that a light emitting surface of the light source is attached onto a hole wall of the light source mounting hole; plural groups of anode-cathode conductive parts are disposed on the flexible circuit board in one-to-one correspondence with the plural light source mounting holes, each being connected to an anode and a cathode of the light source in a corresponding light source mounting hole. The backlight module improves the brightness and uniformity of the light entering the light guide plate. A liquid display device including the above-mentioned backlight module is further provided.

A backlight module and a display device. The backlight module comprises a plurality of light strips arranged along a first direction on a same plane, where each of the light strips extends along a second direction on the plane and comprises: a printed circuit board and a plurality of light sources. The printed circuit board comprises a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface which are opposite to each other and not parallel to the plane; the plurality of light sources is electrically connected with the printed circuit board and comprises a plurality of first light sources and a plurality of second light sources, where the first light sources are disposed on the first mounting surface of the printed circuit board, and the second light sources are disposed on the second mounting surface of the printed circuit board. The backlight module has relatively high brightness.

According the embodiments of the present disclosure, the light guide plate includes a light guide plate body having an upper surface as a light-exiting surface. The light guide plate is provided at a side portion at least one notch, and a light-reflection layer is arranged at a surface of each notch. A wedge-shaped structure is arranged on a lower surface of the light guide plate body and adjacent to a bottom of each notch. The wedge-shaped structure has a first surface attached onto the lower surface of the light guide plate body, a second surface serving as a light-entering surface, and a third surface intersecting the first surface and the second surface and forming an acute angle relative to the first surface. A light-reflection layer is arranged on the third surface. A light source is arranged at a position on the lower surface of the light guide plate body adjacent to the second surface of the wedge-shaped structure.

A backlight source for instrument includes a backlight source region and a pointer region. The backlight source region includes at least two sub-regions, each of which is provided with a backlight source independently. The pointer region is provided with an instrument pointer. When the instrument pointer is turned into one of the at least two sub-regions, the backlight source which corresponds to the sub-region emits light individually. Thus, the backlight source is saved and the energy consumption is reduced. Backlight sources corresponding to different sub-regions emit light of different colors, and the backlight sources of different colors are sequentially arranged according to warning degree and thus can have a warning function. The backlight unit includes: a circuit board (); at least one light source () provided on the circuit board (); a light guiding plate () comprising a light incident side, which is configured for receiving light emitted by the at least one light source, and a light exit side; and a diffusion plate () provided on the light exit side of the light guiding plate (). The diffusion plate () includes a diffusion-plate body () and at least one diffusion-plate extension part () that is located on at least one side of the diffusion-plate body () and connected to the diffusion-plate body (). The diffusion-plate extension part () is located between the circuit board () and the light guiding plate (). A position of the diffusion-plate extension part () corresponds to a position of the light source ().

Embodiments of the invention provide a backlight unit and a display device. The backlight unit comprises at least one light emitting component and at least one reflection support component, wherein the light emitting component comprises a plurality of element surfaces disposed obliquely and a plurality of luminophors disposed on the element surfaces, the reflection support component comprises a plurality of reflective surfaces disposed obliquely.

According to the present disclosure, there are provided a backlight module and a display device. With the backlight module, a heat dissipating device can be saved, and a light guide plate is prevented from being warped and deformed due to heat generation of a light source. The backlight module comprises a light source, a light guide plate and a side-glowing optical fiber. The side-glowing optical fiber includes: a light emitting section which is fixed to at least one side of the light guide plate; and a light guide section, which extends from the light emitting section to the outside of the light guide plate, and a terminal of which is connected to the light source.

Direct illumination type backlight module, bottom reflector and liquid crystal display

A LED chip packaging structure, its manufacturing method, and a display device are disclosed. A conductive unit is formed at two opposite sides of a LED chip unit, and comprises a first conductive layer formed at a side of, and electrically connected to, a first electrode, a second conductive layer formed at a side of, and electrically connected to, a second electrode, and an intermediate isolation layer formed at a side of a GaN layer. The LED chip unit and the conductive unit are connected laterally to form an electrical-connection channel as a whole, without welding a gold wire for the conductive channel as in a traditional LED. Thus, the method is able to reduce the total thickness of the LED chip device, increase the thermal conductivity effect of the LED chip and the overall stability, and improve the light-extraction effect of the surface of the LED chip.
