A dual rotor-type motor includes a stator having a coil wound therearound, an outer rotor, and an inner rotor. The stator includes inner teeth facing the inner rotor, and outer teeth facing the outer rotor, and the inner teeth are misaligned in a rotating direction by as much as an angle with respect to the outer teeth, which may enable the reduction of a torque ripple to a satisfying level, even without having to change the design of the stator structure into a complicated form.

A dual rotor-type motor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a stator around which a coil is wound; an outer rotor; and an inner rotor, wherein the inner rotor and the outer rotor have different initial angles, and thus the inner rotor and the outer rotor are misaligned from each other corresponding to the difference between the initial angles thereof. Therefore, the present invention can reduce torque ripple by a relatively simple method, and thus can improve efficiency of a motor and reduce vibration and noise.

An electric motor having a permanent magnet and a compressor including an electric motor are provided. The electric motor may include a stator; and a rotor rotatably disposed and spaced a predetermined gap apart from the stator. The rotor may include a rotational shaft, a permanent magnet arranged concentrically to the rotational shaft, and a permanent magnet support that supports the permanent magnet. The permanent magnet may have a cylindrical shape and be magnetized to have polar anisotropy such that a magnetic field is formed on the magnet's surface facing the gap but is not formed on the magnet's surface opposite to the gap. The permanent magnet support may be configured to form no flux path in the permanent magnet and connect the rotational shaft to the permanent magnet. Thus, the rotor has a reduced weight with consequent suppression of vibration and noise.

The rotor further includes a plurality of second magnets that are each located between a first magnetic portion of the first magnetic portions and a second magnetic portion of the second magnetic portions that is adjacent to the first magnetic portion, where each second magnet generates second magnetic flux that is greater than the first magnetic flux, and the first magnet is located radially between the gap and the plurality of second magnets.

Disclosed herein are an infrared (IR) sensor and a sensing method using the same, in which disturbance by an external luminous object is removed using the IR sensor that irradiates IR light into a sensing area to sense an object, so that the position or distance of the object can be precisely and accurately sensed. An IR sensor includes an illumination unit that irradiates IR light into a sensing area; an image pickup device that obtains an IR image in the sensing area by sensing the IR light incident from the sensing area; and a control unit that controls the emission time at which the illumination unit irradiates the IR light and the pickup time of the image pickup device. In the IR sensor, the control unit includes an illumination controller that controls the emission time of the illumination unit; an image pickup device controller that controls the pickup time of the image pickup device; a memory that stores the IR image obtained by the image pickup device; and an image processor that calculates the position or distance of the object in the sensing area by performing comparison operation processing with respect to an IR image obtained when the illumination unit irradiates the IR light and an IR image obtained when the illumination unit does not irradiate the IR light in the IR images stored in the memory.

A tactile display apparatus includes a plurality of stimulation pins in contact with a skin; an operating unit for vertically moving the stimulation pins; and a housing accommodating the stimulation pins and the operating unit, the housing having an opening in one surface thereof such that the stimulation pins protrude outward. Here, the plurality of stimulation pins are arranged such that a contact area occupied by front ends of the stimulation pins is smaller than an area occupied by rear ends of the stimulation pins.

The present invention relates to a haptic joystick system that is used with a computer system. The system according to the present invention includes the mechanism comprising the first link work and the second link work that respectively conduct 3 degree-of-freedom independently and are serially connected to each other. Therefore the said mechanism conducts 6 degree-of-freedom. The said mechanism is provided at its base plane with sensors and actuators, whereby not being affected by the inertia of the sensors and the actuators. Also, in the system according to the present invention, the first link work conducts 3 degree-of-freedom among the overall 6 degree-of-freedom that are frequently used in its application, and the second link work conducts another 3 degree-of-freedom. Thereby, the system according to the present invention can achieve the enhanced performance related to the energy effectiveness and the controllability.
