Disclosed is an electronic device including a display; a rear plate including a conductive material; a side member including a conductive material and disposed to surround a space between the display and the rear plate; a printed circuit board disposed between the display and the rear plate; an antenna pattern at least partially disposed between the printed circuit board and the rear plate and at a position corresponding to a slit between the rear plate and the side member; and a communication module which generates a communication signal transmitted to a power feeding unit. A portion of the antenna pattern may be electrically connected to the power feeding unit. Another portion of the antenna pattern may be electrically connected to a ground region of the printed circuit board. The power feeding unit may be connected to a portion of the side member. Various other embodiments are possible.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing which forms at least a part of an exterior of the electronic device, an antenna module which is disposed in the housing and includes a first surface facing one surface of the housing and a second surface facing the opposite direction of the first surface, the antenna module including an antenna array disposed on the first surface, a wireless communication circuit electrically connected with the antenna module, an insulation layer which is disposed between the first surface of the antenna module and one surface of the housing, and first pads which are disposed in a first area of the insulation layer that corresponds to the first surface of the antenna module, wherein each of the first pads has a first shape in which at least a part of an area overlapping the antenna array is removed, and wherein the wireless communication circuit feeds power to the antenna array, thereby transmitting and/or receiving a signal of a designated frequency band.

An electronic device includes a housing, and an antenna structure disposed in the inner space of the housing. The antenna structure includes a substrate including a first surface, a second surface facing away from the first surface, and side surfaces surrounding a space between the first surface and the second surface. At least one antenna element is disposed to form a beam pattern in a direction in which the first surface is oriented, and at least one bracket is disposed in the inner space and configured to support the substrate such that the first surface is tilted to a predetermined angle with respect to a first direction. A wireless communication circuit is disposed in the inner space and is configured to form, via the at least one antenna element, the beam pattern in the direction in which the first surface is oriented.

The switch circuit is controlled to be in at least one of a first state, a second state, and a third state, based on a first frequency of a first operating signal supplied by the wireless communication circuit. An example electronic device including an antenna includes a housing including a first conductive portion, a first support member disposed inside the housing, a printed circuit board disposed on one surface of the first support member and including a wireless communication module, an electronic component electrically connected to the printed circuit board, and a conductive plate supporting the electronic component. The conductive plate is constituted such that a first portion is electrically connected to the wireless communication module and a second portion is electrically connected to the first conductive portion, and thereby broadband radiation characteristics can be provided.

A tuner of the electronic device is controlled such that a first current flows to one of the first antenna element and the second antenna element, based on a first feed condition of the stored feed conditions, and a processor of the electronic device transmits or receives a signal in a specified frequency band based on an electrical path formed through the tuner.

An electronic device may include an assembly that enables varying a visible portion of a display by extending and retracting a bendable portion of the display. The extending and retracting of the bendable display is facilitated by a first assembly on which a substantially planar visible portion of the display is disposed and a second assembly slidably attached to the first assembly. A space is defined by the first and second assemblies in which a bent portion of the display is housed. When the first assembly is extended (e.g., opened) with respect to the second assembly, at least a portion of the bent portion of the display is extended so as to be visible, and when the first assembly is closed (e.g., retracted) with respect to the second assembly, the extended bent portion of the display is retracted into the space between the first assembly and the second assembly, and is no longer visible. Various constructions of the first and second assemblies and corresponding structures are provided.

The PCB and the cover of the electronic device are seated on a second surface of the second portion. The second portion of the support electrically connects the support with the ground of the PCB by making contact with one of conductive contacts of the PCB on at least one point. The FPCB includes a first path extending from the first surface to the second surface through the at least one via hole or the recess of the support. The first path of the FPCB extending to the second surface electrically connects the conductive sheet with the ground of the PCB. The conductive sheet is electrically connected with the metal portion of the support through a selection part comprising selective connection circuitry. The wireless communication circuitry receives a signal having a specific frequency band based on an electrical path comprising the wireless communication circuitry, the metal portion of the support, the selection part, and the conductive sheet.
