A user may have real-time control over whether accessing a network service account implements two-factor authentication. When a username and password is provided to log into the network service account, a determination may be made about whether the login attempt is a potential security threat. When the login attempt does not appear to be a threat, the login attempt may be processed based on the username and password. When the login attempt is a potential security threat, the actual user corresponding to the network service account may be notified and asked to confirm whether the login attempt is a security threat. When the user confirms that the login attempt is not a security threat, the user may be logged in based on the username and password. When the user confirms that the login attempt is a security threat, two-factor authentication may be implemented for accessing the network service account.

User-enabled, two-factor authentication service

A method of establishing a media session between first and second mobile stations, the method including receiving, at an MQTT messaging service and from the first mobile station, a first MQTT subscription request and a first MQTT application message; issuing, in response to receiving the first MQTT application message, an indication to the second mobile station that a mobile station requests establishing a media session with the second mobile station; receiving, at the MQTT messaging service and from the second mobile station, a second MQTT application message; forwarding the second MQTT application message to the first mobile station; receiving a SIP INVITE message issued by one of the first and second mobile stations; forwarding the SIP INVITE message the other of the first and second mobile stations; receiving a SIP OK message issued by the one mobile station; and forwarding the SIP OK message to the other mobile station.

Establishing media sessions via MQTT and SIP

A server device may receive file data from a user device via a web browser application associated with the user device. The file data may be extracted by an application, different from the web browser application, associated with the user device. The server device may determine an acquisition technique based on the file data; obtain a computer file, associated with the file data, using the acquisition technique; receive, from the user device, a request to transmit a message including the computer file; insert the computer file in the message; and transmit the message.

Variable image acquisition and processing techniques based on image data type

A unified alerts message service delivers an alerts message, including content of interest to a user, to a mobile station of the user. Interest information of the user, which defines user's preferences or interests, is inputted by the user to an interface provided by a platform for providing the alerts message service. The platform receives various alerts contents from a number of content providers, and performs a logical matching to find alerts contents that logically match the user's interest information among the received alerts contents. The alerts contents found from the logical matching are sent in one or more mobile messaging service messages including combined alerts contents are sent to a mobile station of the user via a mobile network.
