A lighting apparatus is provided. The lighting apparatus may include a mounting block provided on a heat sink and having a plurality of light emitting modules installed thereon, and a bulb surrounding the mounting block. One or more reflectors may reflect light emitted by the light emitting modules so as to distribute light within a predetermined light distribution area.

Lighting apparatus having a predetermined light distribution area

A lighting apparatus is disclosed. The lighting apparatus may include a heat sink, an LED module provided on the heat sink, an enclosure provided over the heat sink to surround the LED module, an insulator provided between the heat sink and the enclosure, a power module provided below the heat sink to provide power to the LED module, a housing attached to the heat sink to house the power module, and a power socket mounted to the housing and electrically connected to the electronic module. The heat sink may include a channel formed to correspond to a shape of the enclosure and the insulator may be provided in the channel, the insulator and the enclosure being formed of different materials.

Lighting apparatus having a thermal insulator

A lighting apparatus is disclosed. The lighting apparatus may be an omni-directional LED light source. The lighting apparatus may include a heat sink and at least one LED module provided on the heat sink. The LED module may be mounted on a mounting block that protrudes a prescribed height over the heat sink. A first reflector may be provided over the heat sink and below the LED module, and a second reflector may be provided over the LED module. An upper surface of the first reflector may be sloped at a first prescribed angle with respect to a central vertical axis of the heat sink, and a bottom surface of the second reflector may be sloped at a second prescribed angle with respect to the central vertical axis of the heat sink. The first and second reflectors reflect light emitted from the LEDs to produce omni-directional light patterns.

Lighting apparatus

A lighting apparatus is disclosed. The disclosed lighting apparatus omni-directionally radiates light emitted from a light emitting diode (LED) in a uniform light intensity. The lighting apparatus may include at least one LED and a reflector to reflect light emitted from the at least one LED. The reflector may include openings that are positioned to correspond to a position of a respective LED. The LED may emit light in a first direction and the reflector may reflect the light in a second direction such that a difference in light intensity at any angle within a first range between 0&#xb0; to 135&#xb0; with respect to the first direction is less than or equal 20% of an average light intensity of the entire range, and a light flux within a second range between 135&#xb0; to 180&#xb0; is greater than or equal to 5% of the total flux.

A lighting apparatus as disclosed herein may include an installation guide plate which may guide the installation of a light source module inside a housing of the lighting apparatus. The guide plate may include an opening shaped to correspond to a shape of the light source module. The light source module may be inserted into the opening to facilitate positioning and installation of the light source module. The guide plate may also be configured to provide electrical insulation between the light source module and the housing.

A lighting apparatus is disclosed herein that may illuminate a space with light emitted from a light source or to concentrate the emitted light on a certain object. The lighting apparatus may include a lens and a main body that may house a light source. One or more connectors may be formed on the lens and the main body to connect the lens to the main body such that the connectors are not visible once the lighting apparatus is assembled. The lighting apparatus may facilitate mass production and enhance design characteristics owing to a simplified coupling configuration of the connectors provided therein.

A lighting device is disclosed herein. The lighting device may include an LED module having a plurality of LEDs and a heat sink that dissipates heat generated by the LEDs. The heat sink may be electrically insulated from the LEDs and other electrical components to improve the inner voltage property of the lighting device. In the lighting device as disclosed herein, a number of connectors required to assemble the various components of the lighting device may be reduced, and efficiency during assembly may be improved accordingly.

A light emitting diode (LED) based lamp may include a LED module having at least one LED to provide light, a housing to house the LED module, and a lens to receive the light from the LED and to direct the light in a specific direction. A microlens array may have a plurality of microlenses with a polygonal shape, and a distance between two opposing sides of one of the microlens is 0.7 mm to 1.2 mm.

Light emitting diode based lamp

A lighting device and a method of assembling the same are disclosed herein. The lighting device may include a lens assembly having a plurality of condensing lenses, a reflector having a plurality of openings, and a light emitting module having a plurality of LEDs. The condensing lenses, the plurality of openings, and the LEDs may be positioned to correspond to each other. The reflector may reflect light emitted from the light emitting elements to maximize light distribution efficiency of the lighting device.

Lighting device and method of assembling the same

A plasma display apparatus comprises a scan electrode and a sustain electrode; a data electrode for intersecting the scan electrode and the sustain electrode; and a pulse controller for controlling to apply a pulse having an opposite phase to the scan electrode and the sustain electrode during a reset period and apply a negative sustain pulse to the scan electrode and the sustain electrode during a sustain period, wherein a distance between the scan electrode and the sustain electrode is longer than that between the sustain electrode and the data electrode. Therefore, a surface discharge mode can be used even when applying negative pulses to the sustain electrode in a reset period, and a size and cost of a plasma display apparatus can be reduced by applying a negative pulse of the same magnitude as a sustain voltage without a separate negative voltage source.
