A fuel cell apparatus may include a stack, a reformer configured to generate reformed gas, a burner, a water supply tank configured to store cooling water, a burner air blower configured to draw in external air and then to blow the air, a vertex tube configured to convert the air into heated air and cooled air, a three-way valve configured to supply the air from the burner air blower selectively to the vertex tube or the burner, a first heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the air discharged from the vertex tube and the cooling water, a second heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the air discharged from the vertex tube and the reformed gas, and a four-way valve configured to supply the heated air and the cooled air to the first and second heat exchangers.

Fuel cell apparatus and method for controlling the same

A fuel cell apparatus may include a stack, a stack air blower configured to supply external air to the stack, a humidifier configured to extract moisture contained in exhaust air and to supply the extracted moisture to external air supplied to the stack, a first bypass channel configured to allow exhaust air to bypass the humidifier, a first three-way valve controlled to adjust the amount of exhaust air that bypasses the humidifier, and a humidity sensor configured to sense the humidity of external air. The fuel cell apparatus may also include a second bypass channel configured to allow external air to bypass the humidifier, a second three-way valve controlled to adjust the amount of external air that bypasses the humidifier, and a controller configured to control the first three-way valve and the second three-way valve depending on the sensed humidity value of the external air.

Fuel cell apparatus

A device is provided that may include a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant, a condenser configured to condense the compressed refrigerant, an expander configured to expand the refrigerant condensed by the condenser, an evaporator configured to evaporate the refrigerant expanded by the expander, a separation mechanism connected to an outlet pipe of the evaporator to separate liquid refrigerant and gaseous refrigerant discharged from the evaporator, a bypass pipe to guide the gaseous refrigerant separated from the liquid refrigerant to the compressor, a first pipe connected to the separation mechanism and through which the liquid refrigerant discharged from the separation mechanism flows, an accumulator connected to the first pipe to separate the gaseous refrigerant, which is not separated from the liquid refrigerant by the separation mechanism, from the liquid refrigerant and discharge the separated gaseous refrigerant, and a second pipe configured to guide the gaseous refrigerant discharged from the accumulator to the compressor.

Device having refrigerant cycle

Disclosed is a desulfurizer of a fuel cell. The desulfurizer includes a pipe extended long and having one side that is open and the other side that is closed; a cap coupled to one side of the pipe and closing the pipe; a plurality of baffles installed in an inner space of the pipe and sequentially partitioning the inner space in a direction crossing a length direction of the pipe; an inflow pipe penetrating through the cap and the plurality of baffles and communicating from the outside of the pipe to the inner space of the pipe; and an outflow pipe installed in the cap and communicating the outside of the pipe and the inner space of the pipe.

Desulfurizer

A fuel cell stack includes a first stack including a plurality of first fuel cells stacked on each other, and a second stack including a plurality of second fuel cells stacked on each other and disposed on one side of the first stack. Each of the first stack and the second stack includes a fuel inlet hole, through which fuel to be supplied to anodes of the respective first and second fuel cells is introduced, a fuel discharge hole, through which the fuel passing through the anodes is discharged, an air inlet hole, through which air to be supplied to cathodes of the respective first and second fuel cells is introduced, and an air discharge hole, through which the air passing through the cathodes is discharged. The fuel cell stack divided into the two stacks increases a charging ratio of hydrogen at the anodes of the respective stacks.

A fuel cell exhaust device includes a pipe having one side open and the other side closed, a water tank having one side open and the other side closed, a reformer exhaust pipe communicating with the pipe between one side and the other side of the pipe, a stack exhaust pipe which is spaced apart from the reformer exhaust pipe and communicates with the pipe between one side and the other side of the pipe, a drain pipe positioned adjacent to the reformer exhaust pipe or the stack exhaust pipe and disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the water tank to communicate with the inside of the water tank, and a hole defined on the closed other side of the pipe and spaced apart from the closed other side of the water tank.

A blower fan for preventing noise generated from blades and a peripheral interference object is provided, the blower fan including a cylindrical hub, a plurality of blades disposed to be spaced apart an asymmetric distance from one another about the hub, and a balancer connected to the hub to balance the blades.

Blower fan

A fuel cell has a stack that includes a fuel electrode and air electrode on opposite sides of an electrolyte membrane. The fuel electrode includes first and second fuel ports communicative via a fuel flow path, and the air electrode includes first and second air ports communicative via an air flow path. The fuel cell also includes first and second fuel feeders communicative with the first and second fuel ports, and first and second air feeders communicative with the first and second air ports. The fuel cell also includes a fuel switching unit between the first and second fuel feeders that switches a fuel supply direction between the first and second fuel feeders. The fuel cell further includes an air switching unit between the first and second air feeders that switches an air supply direction between the first and second air feeders.

Fuel cell and method for operating the same

An ejector and a refrigeration cycle apparatus having an ejector are provided. The ejector may include an ejector body having a suction portion into which a high pressure refrigerant and a low pressure refrigerant may be suctioned, and having a mixing portion provided at one side of the suction portion and configured to mix the high pressure refrigerant with the low pressure refrigerant; a nozzle movably provided in the suction portion, and configured to inject the high pressure refrigerant; a needle inserted into an end of the nozzle and configured to control a flow sectional area of the nozzle; and a nozzle drive configured to drive the nozzle so as to be relatively movable with respect to the mixing portion and the needle. As a flow sectional area of a high pressure refrigerant passage and a flow sectional area of a low pressure refrigerant passage are controlled, a driving efficiency of the ejector may be enhanced.

A fuel reforming device includes a combustion part including a burner; an exhaust part configured to circulate an exhaust gas that is generated from the combustion part; and a reactor that is configured to generate hydrogen from a raw material by absorbing heat from the exhaust gas circulating in the exhaust part. The reactor includes a heat storage member that is configured to absorb the heat from the exhaust gas during operation of the combustion part, store the absorbed heat, and provide the absorbed heat to the reactor.

An ejector and a refrigeration cycle apparatus having an ejector are provided. The ejector may include an ejector body having an accommodation space therein, a suction portion through which a high pressure refrigerant and a low pressure refrigerant may be suctioned into the accommodation space, and a mixing portion configured to mix the high pressure refrigerant with the low pressure refrigerant; a nozzle provided in the ejector body, having a nozzle neck and an expansion portion, and configured to inject the high pressure refrigerant into the mixing portion; a first needle moveably provided at the expansion portion, and configured to control a flow sectional area of the expansion portion; a second needle moveably provided at the nozzle neck, and configured to control a flow sectional area of the nozzle neck; a first needle drive configured to drive the first needle; and a second needle drive configured to drive the second needle. With such a configuration, the flow sectional area of the nozzle neck and the flow sectional area of the expansion portion may be independently controlled in correspondence to a drive condition.

The turbo fan includes a main plate rotating by power provided from a fan motor, a blade having one end connected to the main plate to rotate, a shroud connected to the other end of the blade, and an orifice guiding a flow of indoor air in a direction of the shroud. The shroud includes a guide surface defining one surface of the shroud, the guide surface having a predetermined curvature and an air guide connected to a side of the shroud, the air guide being disposed in a direction of the orifice from the shroud.
