A touch sensing system and a method of reducing latency thereof are disclosed. The touch sensing system includes a touch sensing circuit configured to apply a driving signal to touch sensors, sense voltages of the touch sensors, and output a digital touch raw data; a coordinate calculator configured to analyze the digital touch raw data, and calculate a coordinate information about each of positions of a touch input; and an idle mode controller configured to compare an analog signal received from the touch sensors with a predetermined threshold value, decide whether or not the touch input is generated based on the analog signal, and generate an interrupt signal when the touch input is sensed.

A touch sensing system and a method for driving the same. The touch sensing system includes a pen with a resonant circuit embedded therein, XY electrodes including X electrodes and Y electrodes substantially perpendicular to the X electrodes, an antenna surrounding the XY electrodes, and a first touch driving circuit. The first touch driving circuit supplies a resonant inductive signal to the XY electrodes, analyzes a resonance signal received through the antenna, and decides a location and a pen pressure of the pen. The resonant inductive signal includes N periods each having a different duration, and wherein N is a positive integer equal to or greater than 2.

According to an embodiment, a touch-sensitive display device includes a display panel including data lines, gate lines crossing the data lines, and a pixel array including pixels arranged in a matrix form; a touch screen including Tx lines, Rx lines crossing the Tx lines, and touch sensors formed at crossings of the Tx lines and the Rx lines; a display driving circuit configured to supply video data voltages to the pixels of the display panel; and a touch screen driving circuit configured to sequentially supply at least one delayed pulse to each of the Tx lines, and sense an output signal of each of the touch sensors through the Rx lines, wherein an edge of each of the at least one delayed pulse is present in a horizontal blank period.
