A display device includes a substrate, a sub-pixel on the substrate and including an organic light emitting diode, an encapsulation layer on the organic light emitting diode, and a plurality of touch electrodes on the encapsulation layer, the plurality of touch electrodes including an open area. The sub-pixel may include first and second emission areas and a first non-emission area in the open area of the plurality of touch electrodes, the first non-emission area being configured to be in a black state or to have a lower brightness than the first and second emission areas. Each of the first non-emission area and at least one of the first and second emission areas may have a shape of an octagon, a circle, an ellipse, a polygon, a triangle, a square, or a hexagon in a plan view.

Disclosed are an organic light emitting display device and a method of manufacturing the same, which reduce a loss of light emitted from an organic light emitting device, increase a lifetime of the organic light emitting device, and decrease consumption power of the organic light emitting display device. The organic light emitting display device includes a first electrode disposed on a first substrate, a bank disposed on the first electrode for dividing a plurality of emission parts, an organic light emitting layer disposed on the first electrode and the bank, a second electrode disposed on the organic light emitting layer, and an encapsulation layer disposed on the second electrode. The encapsulation layer fills a space between adjacent banks, and a refractive index of the bank is lower than a refractive index of the organic light emitting layer and a refractive index of the encapsulation layer.

A light emitting device is disclosed. The light emitting device includes a substrate, a display unit that is positioned on the substrate and includes a plurality of subpixels, signal lines on the substrate, a pad unit positioned at either edge of the substrate, and a dummy pad unit positioned at both sides of the pad unit outside the pad unit on the signal lines. The signal lines include scan lines, power supply lines, and ground lines which are connected to the plurality of subpixels. The pad unit includes a driver supplying driving signals to the signal lines. The dummy pad unit is connected to the signal lines.
