A polycarbonate composition includes the following components in parts by weight: a. 30 to 87 parts of a PC resin; b. 8 to 50 parts of a rubber-modified graft polymer; c. 5 to 25 parts of a fire retardant; and d. 0 to 10 parts of other aids; wherein a sum of parts by weight of the four components a, b, c, and d is 100. Phenols which are added in a polycarbonate composition formula, based on a total weight of the polycarbonate composition does not exceed 100 ppm. A K value of a component I of the PC resin is adjusted between 300000 and 500000 and the K value of a component II is adjusted to be less than 300000.

Polycarbonate composition and preparation method thereof

The present invention discloses a glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition which includes following components in parts by weight: 35 to 71 parts of a PBT resin; 5 to 30 parts of a flame retardant; and 5 to 50 parts of a glass fiber; based on a total weight of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition, a content of tetrahydrofuran is less than/equal to 500 ppm and more than/equal to 10 ppm. In the present invention, when the content of tetrahydrofuran which is selected to be added in a formula of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition, is less than/equal to 500 ppm and more than/equal to 10 ppm based on the total weight of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition, a flowability and injection molding appearance of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition can be apparently improved.

A polycarbonate composition includes the following components in parts by weight: a. 30 to 86 parts of polycarbonate; b. 0.0001 to 1 part of phenols; c. 0.01 to 5 parts of hindered phenol substance; d. 8 to 50 parts of a rubber-modified graft polymer; e. 5 to 25 parts of a fire retardant; and f. 0 to 10 parts of a fire retardant synergist; wherein a sum of parts by weight of the six components a, b, c, d, e and f is 100.
