A cleaner station suctions dust stored in a cleaner into the inside thereof and a method for controlling the cleaner station. The cleaner station includes: a housing which is coupled to a cleaner; a dust collection motor which is received within the housing and generates a suction force to suck dust within a dust bin of the cleaner; a dust collector which is received within the housing, is disposed above the dust collection motor, and collects the dust sucked from the inside of the dust bin by the dust collection motor; and a collector external sterilization unit which is received within the housing and is provided to cause a sterilization reaction on foreign substances present outside the dust collector.

Cleaner station and method for controlling the same

A nozzle for a cleaner may comprise a nozzle housing and a rotation cleaning unit rotatably disposed under the nozzle housing. The rotation cleaning unit may comprise a mop configured to clean a floor and a rotation plate coupled to the mop. The nozzle may comprise a driving device disposed in the nozzle housing and comprising a motor configured to drive the rotation cleaning unit, and a water tank mounted on the nozzle housing and configured to store water. The mop may comprise a floor cleaning portion, an attaching portion disposed above the floor cleaning portion to be coupled to the rotation plate, and an upper absorbing portion disposed above the floor cleaning portion and at least partially overlapping the attaching portion. The upper absorbing portion may be sewn to the attaching portion and may be configured to absorb water from the water tank.

Cleaner

A cleaner system includes a cleaner and a cleaner station that performs a method for removing residual dust. The cleaner station is configured to suction dust stored in the cleaner. Residual dust in the cleaner station after suctioning dust in a dust bin of the cleaner is suctioned through a bypass hole that penetrates an outside and an inside of a suction tube.

Cleaner system

A motor driving apparatus for a cleaner includes a DC terminal capacitor, an inverter including switching elements configured to convert the DC power into AC power, a motor configured to operate the inverter, an impeller connected to the motor and configured to circulate air, and a printed circuit board having a first surface that mounts the switching elements and faces toward the motor and the impeller, and a second surface that mounts the DC terminal capacitor. The printed circuit board includes circuit elements mounted on a first area of the first surface and configured to carry a current having a level greater than or equal to a predetermined level. The first area is positioned in a flow path of the air circulated by the impeller.

Motor driving apparatus and cleaner including the same

A cleaner having a housing that includes a suction opening, a cyclone part configured to separate dust from air suctioned through the suction opening, and a dust bin configured to store dust separated from air by the cyclone part, a guide fixed in position in the housing, a frame configured to be movable to a compression standby position and a dust compression position for compressing dust in the dust bin in the housing and brought into contact with the guide at the compression standby position, a first guide part provided at the frame, and a second guide part provided at the guide and coupled to the first guide part at the compression standby position of the frame, wherein one of the first guide part and the second guide part is a projection and the other is a recess in which the projection is accommodated.

A robot cleaner includes a water tank forming a space to store water, a body forming an exterior and having a housing which forms a space in which the water tank is mounted, a pair of spin mops rotatably mounted at a lower side of the body, a first nozzle provided at the housing, a second nozzle provided at the tank and configured to couple to the first nozzle, and a fixing part generating a magnetic force when the tank is mounted in the housing to fix an arrangement of the tank mounted in the housing. The fixing part includes a fixing device (e.g., a magnet or metal) provided around a circumference of the second nozzle and a response fixing device (e.g., a magnet or metal) provided around a circumference of the first nozzle and having a shape corresponding to the fixing device. The first nozzle and the second nozzle are attached to each other by the fixing device and the response fixing device.

Robot cleaner

A robot cleaner includes a main body forming an exterior and having a water tank housing formed at a rear side thereof. The water tank housing may form a space in which a water tank is mounted. At least one spin mop is rotatably provided at a lower side of the main body, moving the main body by rotating, and configured to clean a floor using water in the water tank. A supply nozzle is provided at one side of the water tank housing, and when connected to a discharge nozzle of the water tank, communicates with the discharge nozzle to supply water stored in the water tank to each of the spin mops. The robot cleaner further includes a locking device rotatably provided at a position spaced apart from a circumferential surface of the water tank housing, and configured to secure the water tank in the water tank housing when mounted or to release the water tank by pushing backward on the water tank.

Provided is a cleaner. The cleaner includes a housing provided with a dust container at a lower side thereof having a suction opening, a filter part configured to filter dust from air suctioned through the suction opening, the filter being spaced apart from an inner circumferential surface of the housing, a movable part configured to be elevated between a first position and a second position in a space between the outside of the filter part and the inner circumferential surface of the housing, a manipulation part of which at least a portion is exposed to outside of the housing, the manipulation part being elevated by user's manipulation, and a transfer unit of which at least a portion is accommodated in the housing, the transfer unit being configured to connect the manipulation part to the movable part. The dust container has an elevation groove, which is recessed outward from an inner surface of the dust container, in a vertical direction.

A robot cleaner may have a body, a mop, and a tank to supply water to the mop. The tank may be magnetically coupled to the body via at least one magnet and be physically coupled to the body via a groove and a protrusion The protrusion may be a bent rib extending from the tank to couple to a groove in the body, or the protrusion may be a stopper attached to a spring attached to the body and coupling with a groove in the tank. The at least one magnet may be provided at a first side with respect to a left-right center, and the protrusion and groove may be provided at a second side opposite the first side. To remove the tank from the body, the tank may be pulled near the magnet to detach the tank at the magnet, and the tank may be rotated at a point on the second side.

Provided is a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body provided with a suction motor at the inside thereof and a handle at the outside thereof, and a suction nozzle connected to the cleaner body. The suction nozzle includes a housing of which at least a portion of a front side is opened to defined a front opening, a rotation cleaning part which is installed inside the housing, of which at least a portion is exposed through the front opening, and which is configured to clean a floor surface by a rotation operation thereof, and a sealing part protruding downward from a lower end of the housing and provided in rear of the front opening.

A motor driving apparatus for a home appliance includes: a power supply part configured to supply DC power, a DC-Link capacitor connected to the power supply part, an inverter connected to the DC-Link capacitor and comprising a plurality of switching elements, the inverter being configured to convert, by operating the plurality of switching elements, the DC power into AC power and output the converted AC power to a motor, a DC-Link resistor element disposed between the DC-Link capacitor and the inverter, a signal generator connected to the DC-Link resistor element and configured to generate and output a plurality of signals based on an output current flowing through the DC-Link resistor element, and a controller configured to control the inverter based on the plurality of signals received from the signal generator.

Motor driving apparatus and home appliance including the same

A motor driving apparatus and a control method thereof, including a dc-link capacitor configured to store DC power, an inverter including a plurality of switching elements and converting the DC power stored in the dc-link capacitor into AC power to output the power to a motor, a dc-link resistor element disposed between the dc-link capacitor and the inverter; and a controller configured to control an operation of the inverter. The controller calculates a phase difference between a first reference voltage vector among a plurality of reference voltage vectors that are preset on the space vector and a voltage command, generates a switching frequency, determines a first operating point located in a dead band that is a one-phase current undetectable area in one switching cycle and a second operating point located at an outer position including a boundary of the dead band, and controls operation of the plurality of switching elements.

Motor driving apparatus and method thereof

A compressor is provided that may include a refrigerant flow path provided in a rotational shaft so as to guide a refrigerant gas. The rotational shaft operates a compression device using a drive force of an electric motor. In such a structure, the refrigerant gas may be directly discharged to a discharge space without passing through other portions such that flow path resistance may be minimized.

A suction valve assembly for a compressor and a compressor having a suction valve assembly. The suction valve assembly may include a body that connects a compression chamber of the compressor with an accumulator, and a lifting/lowering valve provided in the body. The lifting/lowering valve may be moved upward by a pressure difference between an inner space of the accumulator and an inner space of the compression chamber when operation of the compressor stops and block reverse flow of oil to the accumulator. Accordingly, when operation of the compressor stops, compressed oil may be prevented from reversely flowing to the accumulator.
