An information handling system includes a storage and a processor. The storage stores a key file in a partition of the storage. The processor receives a request for the key file and determines whether the key file is located within the partition of the storage. In response to the key file not being within the partition of the storage, the processor retrieves metadata for the key file. The processor determines a physical location for the key file based on the metadata. Based on the physical location, the processor retrieves segments of the key file from the partition of the storage. The processor downloads segments of the key file from a backend server. The processor re-creates the key file based on the segments of the key file retrieved from the partition of the storage and on the segments of the key file downloaded from the backend server.

Optimized file storage strategy for increasing usability of key files

Disclosed are apparatuses, systems, and techniques that may perform methods of pyramid optical flow processing with efficient identification and handling of object boundary pixels. In pyramid optical flow, motion vectors for pixels of image layers having a coarse resolution may be used as hints for identification of motion vectors for pixels of image layers having a higher resolution. Pixels that are located near apparent boundaries between foreground and background objects may receive multiple hints from lower-resolution image layers, for more accurate identification of matching pixels across different image levels of the pyramid.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for image processing. The system may obtain low-frequency component of a first image. For each element of the first image, the system may adjust a luminance of the element in response to determining that the luminance of the element is less than a predetermined luminance threshold. The system may determine a first luminance weight map corresponding to the first image based on the adjusted luminance of each element of the first image. The system may obtain low-frequency component of a second image and determine a second luminance weight map corresponding to the second image based on a luminance of each element of the second image. The system may further determine a fused image based on the low-frequency component of the first image, the first luminance weight map, the low-frequency component of the second image, and the second luminance weight map.

Systems and methods for image processing

A disclosed method for implementing containers in an information handling system generates, with a first non-privileged container, a request that is sent to a RESTful API. Whenever the API identifies a request requiring host access the API launches a second container, which is configured to operate in a privileged execution mode. The second container accesses the host and executes the requested actions. When the request completes, the first container resumes non-privileged execution, thereby confining privileged mode execution to a container that is only active during host interaction. The host access can be access required to: exchange data with the host, query the host for hardware information, and modify host configuration. The host may be implanted within a device featuring an HCI infrastructure. In one configuration, the host resides of one of multiple distinct nodes of an HCI appliance.

In various examples, optical flow estimate (OFE) quality is improved when employing a hint-based algorithm in multi-level hierarchical motion estimation by using different scan orders at different resolution levels. A scan of an image performed with a scan order may initially leverage OFEs from a previous scan of the image, where the previous scan was performed using a different scan order. The OFEs leveraged from the previous scan are more likely to be of high accuracy until sufficient spatial hints are available to the hint-based algorithm for the scan to reduce the impact of potentially lower quality OFEs resulting from the different scan order of the previous scan.

A method and system for generating a fusion image. The method may include obtaining a first image and a second image of a same scene. Pixels of at least a part of the first image may correspond to pixels of at least a part of the second image. The method may include generating, based on the first image, a first low-frequency image corresponding to a low-frequency component of the first image, the first low-frequency image including a plurality of first pixels. The method may include generating, based on the second image, a first high-frequency image corresponding to a high-frequency component of the second image, the first high-frequency image including a plurality of second pixels, the plurality of second pixels corresponding to the plurality of first pixels. The method may include determining, based on the first low-frequency image and the first high-frequency image, a featuring region in the first high-frequency image, wherein the featuring region and a region of the first image that corresponds to the featuring region have different luminance transition trends. The method may further include correcting the second pixels in the featuring region based at least in part on the first low-frequency image. And the method may also include generating a fusion image based at least in part on the first low-frequency image, and the first high-frequency image.

In various examples, sensor data may be received that represents a field of view of a sensor of a vehicle located in a physical environment. The sensor data may be applied to a machine learning model that computes both a set of boundary points that correspond to a boundary dividing drivable free-space from non-drivable space in the physical environment and class labels for boundary points of the set of boundary points that correspond to the boundary. Locations within the physical environment may be determined from the set of boundary points represented by the sensor data, and the vehicle may be controlled through the physical environment within the drivable free-space using the locations and the class labels.

A system and a method for image fusion are provided. The method may comprise: obtaining a visible light image and an infrared image relating to a same scene; performing a first decomposition to the visible light image to obtain a first high-frequency component of the visible light image and a first low-frequency component of the visible light image; performing a first decomposition to the infrared image to obtain a first high-frequency component of the infrared image and a first low-frequency component of the infrared image; fusing the first high-frequency component of the visible light image and the first high-frequency component of the infrared image based on a first algorithm to generate a first fused high-frequency component; and performing reconstruction based on the first fused high-frequency component, the first low-frequency component of the visible light image, and the first low-frequency component of the infrared image to generate a fused image.
