A display panel includes gate lines, data lines, switching elements connected to the gate lines and the data lines, pixel electrodes connected to the switching elements and markers. The pixel electrode includes first, second third and fourth areas which are divided by a horizontal central line and a vertical central line. The first, second, third and fourth areas correspond to an upper-left portion, an upper-right portion, a lower-left portion and a lower-right portion of a central point of the pixel electrode. When the pixel electrode is disposed between first and second data lines and connected to the first data line, the marker is disposed in one of the first and third areas. When the pixel electrode is disposed between the first and second data lines and connected to the second data line, the marker is disposed in one of the second and fourth areas.

Display panel and method of repairing the same

The present disclosure relates to an organic light-emitting display device capable of preventing threshold voltage variation in a thin film transistor. In the organic light-emitting display device according to the present disclosure, an upper light-shielding layer overlying a pixel driving circuit which drives a light-emitting element is disposed on the same plane as an anode electrode and a bank is disposed to cover the sides of the upper light-shielding layer, and thus light input to the sides and the upper surface of an active layer can be blocked.

A curved liquid crystal display device may include first and second substrates having curved surfaces along a first direction; first and second alignment layers on inner surfaces of the first and second substrates, respectively; a liquid crystal layer between the first and second alignment layers; and a seal pattern in an edge area surrounding the liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, wherein the first and second alignment layers have an alignment direction substantially parallel with the first direction to orient liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer.

A crosstalk-reducing barrier panel is provided atop of a 3D-capable image panel where the image panel displays 3D imagery by alternatingly projecting left-eye imagery and right-eye imagery and where crosstalk may develop between leaked portions of the left and right-eye light rays produced by the image panel. A polarizing panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and an interposed first liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a plurality of spaced apart and segment electrodes and segments of a first light-blocking member disposed within interval areas between the segment electrodes. The second substrate faces the first substrate to include a common electrode facing the segment electrodes. The first liquid crystal layer is able to selectively apply a first polarizing effect to light rays passing therethrough when in a corresponding first state and to apply a different second polarizing effect to passing through light rays when in a corresponding second state, where the first and second states can be selectively chosen by voltages applied to the segment electrodes. The light-blocking member can reduce image crosstalk lights from being emitted from the interval areas between the segment electrodes, so that a crosstalk component of a formed 3D image may be prevented or reduced due to light-blocking effects.

A liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a substrate; a partition formed on the substrate and defining a pixel; a plurality of protrusion members formed with the same material as the partition on the substrate, and disposed with a linear plane shape inside the pixel defined by the partition; and a color filter filled inside the pixel defined by the partition. Accordingly, in the liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of transparent protrusion members are formed in the pixel defined by the partition such that movement of color filter ink dripped through an Inkjet method is controlled such that a color filter may be planarized on the whole surface of the pixel.

Liquid crystal display having reduced kickback effect

A thin film transistor ('TFT') substrate includes: gate lines extending along a first direction; data lines extending along a second direction intersecting the first direction; and a pixel electrode formed to extend at an angle from a first gate line toward a second gate line adjacent to the first gate line. A portion of the pixel electrode at least partially overlaps a portion of the second gate line. Each data line includes a source electrode and a drain electrode spaced apart from the source electrode.
