A display apparatus and method that reduces block noise by performing block noise boundary detections and generating a block noise boundary map on the basis of a result of the detections to cope with local random block noise having irregular shaped and blurred block boundaries to perform adaptive deblocking filtering. The apparatus includes: an image receiver; a map generator to generate a block boundary map by performing convolution using a plurality of kernels on a received image; a determiner to determine a filter parameter on the basis of the block boundary map and a block boundary period included in the block boundary map; a deblocking filter to vary a filter strength on the basis of the determined filter parameter; and a display on which an image in which block noise is removed by the deblocking filter is displayed.

Display apparatus and method of controlling the same

A test apparatus may include transceivers and a global de-skew circuit. In a training mode, the transceivers provide first timing information obtained by delaying a first data signal in the range of up to a preset unit interval based on a clock signal and receive second timing information corresponding to timing differences between a slowest transceiver and the remaining transceivers. In an operation mode, the transceivers provide compensation data to a plurality of DUTs (Devices Under Test) substantially simultaneously. The compensation data may be obtained by delaying a second data signal by multiples of the preset unit interval in response to the second timing information. In the training mode, the global de-skew circuit receives the first timing information, calculates, using the first timing information, the timing differences between the slowest transceiver and the remaining transceivers, and provides the second timing information corresponding to the timing differences to the transceivers.

Test apparatus

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for controlling an alarm function of a mobile device with an inertial sensor. In one example of the method, after an initial threshold value is established, an alarm occurrence is generated at a predefined hour. If the alarm occurrence is the first, an alarm control unit detects a first movement of the mobile device due to the alarm occurrence through the inertial sensor, and adjusts the initial threshold value according to the first movement. If the alarm occurrence is not the first, the alarm control unit detects a second movement of the mobile device through the inertial sensor, compares the second movement with the adjusted threshold value, and stops the alarm occurrence if the second movement is greater than the adjusted threshold value.
