Disclosed is a heat exchanger including a plurality of tubes through which refrigerants flow, the tubes being spaced away from each other, and a plurality of fins through which the tubes are perpendicularly inserted, the fins being spaced away from each other at a predetermined distance, each of the fin having more than four peak portions and more than four valley portions that are alternately disposed. Heights or depths of at least two peak portions or at least two valley portions being different from each other.

Disclosed is a heat exchanger including: a plurality of tubes through which refrigerants flow, the tubes being spaced away from one another; and a fin through which the tubes are perpendicularly inserted, and having a fin collar for supporting the inserted tube, a seat for supporting an outer circumference of a lower end of the fin collar, and three or more peak portions and three or more valley portions that are alternately disposed at an area defined between the tubes to cause air flow to vary at an area defined between the fin collar, heights of at least two peak portions or depths of at least two valley portions being different from each other.

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes through which refrigerants flow, the tubes being spaced apart from each other, and a plurality of fins spaced apart from each other at a predetermined distance. Each of the fins has fin collars through which the tubes are perpendicularly inserted, seat portions concentrically formed around outer circumferences of the fin collars and provided with laterally-opened front and rear portions, more than two peak portions, and more than two valley portions, the peak and valley portions being alternately disposed to provide airflow variation.

A micro-multi channel heat exchanger includes a lower header having a hollow for receiving refrigerant and an upper header opposite to the lower header. A plurality of tubes are arranged in a length direction of the upper and lower headers at fixed intervals, each having opposite ends fixed to the upper header and the lower header. A plurality of channels are formed in the tubes and elongated to be in communication with the hollows of the two headers. Each channel has an area of a section, parallel to a length direction of the two headers, reducing at a fixed ratio as the channels go from an air inlet side to an air outlet side. A plurality of fins are located between the tubes for heat exchange with the air.

A heat exchanger with small-diameter refrigerant tubes is disclosed. The heat exchanger has a plurality of air guide fins assembled with each other by one or more vertical rows of refrigerant tubes passing through the air guide fins. In the heat exchanger, each of the refrigerant tubes is a small-diameter tube having an outer diameter of not larger than 6 mm. In addition, four rows of offset surfaces are vertically formed on each of the air guide fins at a position between two tubes of each vertical row of refrigerant tubes through a pressing process such that the four rows of offset surfaces are arranged along a transverse direction of the fin. Four rows of vertical slits are each formed by two air guide openings defined between opposite side edges of each of the offset surfaces and the land surface of the air guide fin. In the heat exchanger, the number of the slits is reduced, in addition to changing the shape and dimension of the slits so as to allow the slits to be compatible with the small-diameter refrigerant tubes. The heat exchanger is also reduced in its production cost, accomplishes the recent trend of compactness, and minimizes its air-side pressure loss, in addition to accomplishing an improvement in its heat exchange operational performance due to its enhanced heat transfer efficiency. This heat exchanger is also improved in its productivity.
