A roller module includes a roller, a magnetic bearing, a permanent magnet, at least one pair of magnetic coring, and a plurality of gap sensors. The roller has a protrusion and has a cylindrical shape. The protrusion is formed at both outer surfaces of the roller with a stepped portion and has the cylindrical shape. The magnetic bearing is formed at the roller. The permanent magnet is formed at the roller. At least one pair of magnetic coring covers an outer circumference of the protrusion. The gap sensors are formed along an axial direction and a radial direction of the roller.

Provided is a power amplifier installed in wireless communication terminals and systems. According to one aspect of the present invention, a reconfigurable power amplifier capable of selecting a wide band frequency is provided. The reconfigurable power amplifier includes input transistors receiving a radio frequency (RF) signal and a reconfigurable adaptive power cell configured to select the wide band frequency by applying a common-gate bias voltage to a plurality of common-gate transistors with a plurality of separate common gates to amplify the RF signal.

The method for simulating picture quality improvement of an image display device includes the steps of selecting at least one input image data from a list of plurality of test image data by using a file input/output interface unit of a simulation tool, selecting at least one image processing algorithm from a list of a plurality of image processing algorithms by using an image control interface unit, applying the at least one image processing algorithm selected thus to the at least one input image data to convert the at least one input image data by using an algorithm application control unit, comparing and determining at least one output image data converted and forwarded thus to the input image data, and analyzing characteristics of the output image data by using a resultant image analysis and control unit.

An electronic device for beamforming and a method thereof in a wireless communication system are provided. The electronic device includes a plurality of antennas. The electronic device also includes a plurality of transmitter and receiver switches connected to the antennas and configured to select a plurality of transmission paths and a plurality of reception paths. The electronic device further includes a plurality of first Phase Shifters (P/Ss) configured to shift a phase of Radio Frequency (RF) signals received via the antennas and the transmitter and receiver switches. The electronic device includes a combiner configured to combine the phase-shifted RF signals to one RF signal. The electronic device also includes a quadrature signal generator configured to generate a quadrature signal. The electronic device further includes a down-mixer configured to convert the quadrature signal and the combined RF signal to a first baseband signal and configured to output the first baseband signal to a modem. The electronic device includes a controller configured to control the transmitter and receiver switches, the first P/Ss, and a plurality of second P/Ss to determine a transmission or reception mode of the transmitter and receiver switches, and the phase of the RF signals transmitted and received.

Method and apparatus for transceiving for beam forming in wireless communication system

Disclosed is a separator plate for a molten carbonate fuel cell, which functions to reform a fuel gas while allowing it to efficiently flow therein and thereout, thus producing hydrogen and carbon dioxide, which are then supplied into an anode, and which functions to realize the electrical connection between the anode and the cathode. In the center plate, having a central portion and peripheral portions of the separator plate, the central portion has gas flow paths, that is, guide protrusions and guide grooves, and the peripheral portions are formed into sidewall parts through a folding process, and thus the number of constituents of the separator plate is minimized, thereby reducing the area to be welded. Further, the sidewall parts are integrally structured with the center plate, thereby increasing airtightness and solving problems of corrosion which may be caused in the welded area.

A transfer apparatus includes at least four fine actuators each having a coil assembly with a wound coil, and a pair of movable magnets having different polarities and spaced from each other to interpose the coil assembly therebetween, a coil supporter to support the at least four coil assemblies so that the fine actuators are arranged in a pair of groups thereof symmetrically with respect to a predetermined straight line, a magnet supporter to support the at least four movable magnets corresponding to the respective coil assemblies, and a controller to control the fine actuator to move one of the coil supporter and the magnet supporter with respect to the other one. With this configuration, a transfer apparatus can perform a super-precision positioning control by decreasing a positioning control error.

A stage apparatus may include a first stage, a second stage movable with respect to the first stage, at least one flexure hinge to connect the first stage with the second stage, a plurality of actuators provided between the first stage and the second stage to push the first stage and the second stage and to be symmetric with respect to a center of the first stage and the second stage, and a controller to control the plurality of actuators to move one of the first stage and the second stage with respect to the other one of the first stage and the second stage. Thus, a position error of the stage can be reduced, which enables an ultra precision position control. Further, a piezoelectric driver using piezoelectric elements may be used as the actuator to decrease the position error more than a conventional driver such as a motor. The position error may be decreased to &#xb1;10 nm.
