Coffee maker and microwave oven and method for controlling the same are provided. The coffee maker and microwave oven includes an outfit room for mounting various electric components on an inside thereof, a case at one side of the outfit room, a water tank in the case, a funnel having a filter placed thereon for extraction of coffee, a jug under the funnel for storage of extracted coffee, a water supply pipe having one end connected to the water tank, the other end position over the funnel, and a portion on a bottom of the case, and a heater assembly on the bottom of the case, the heater assembly having a heating heater for heating potable water passing through the water supply pipe, and a heat conservation heater for heating coffee in the jug to maintain a temperature of the coffee constant.

Coffee maker and microwave oven and method for controlling the same are disclosed. The coffee maker and microwave oven includes an outfit room for mounting various electric components on an inside thereof, a case at one side of the outfit room, a water tank in the case, a funnel having a filter placed thereon for extraction of coffee, a jug under the funnel for storage of extracted coffee, a water supply pipe having one end connected to the water tank, the other end position over the funnel, and a portion on a bottom of the case, and a heater assembly on the bottom of the case, the heater assembly having a heating heater for heating potable water passing through the water supply pipe, and a heat conservation heater for heating coffee in the jug to maintain a temperature of the coffee constant.

This invention relates to an opening and closing apparatus for a door of a microwave oven which has lighting lamps. The door of the microwave oven is devised to have a predetermined time until it is opened in a course of power transmission by a driving motor by which the door is opened and closed. The driving motor rotates a driving gear and the driving gear makes an opening and closing lever move linearly. Accordingly the door which is locked with the main body of microwave oven can be opened by the linear motion of the opening and closing lever. Therefore, the door is opened after a predetermined time is passed by the fact that the power transmission from driving motor is delivered to the opening and closing lever through the driving gear so that the remaining light by the lighting lamps can be completely removed. This can prevent the user's eye being damaged by the remaining light and improve the value in use for the microwave oven with lighting lamps.

A door for preventing leakage of electromagnetic wave of a microwave oven includes: a front panel forming a front surface of a door; a first contact surface expanded from the circumference of the front panel and recessed forward a cavity of the microwave oven so as to contact an entrance of the cavity; a door frame portion expanded from the circumference of the first contact surface and proceeding to the front surface of the door so as to form a frame of the door; a second contact surface expanded from the circumference of the door frame portion and recessed toward the cavity so as to contact a frame of the cavity entrance; a choke cavity formed between the door frame and the second contact surface; and a slit formed on the circumference of the door frame in a predetermined interval and expanded into the choke cavity in a predetermined length. Thus, leakage of the electromagnetic wave can be prevented due to the slit shape of a predetermined period. Also, various designs can be provided by making the door panel to be attached of detached to/from the door frame.
