A method of driving a display device includes: sensing characteristic information of pixels by outputting sensing voltages to sensing lines; and operating an external compensation of the pixels based on the characteristic information. The sensing of the characteristic information of pixels includes: detecting a capacitance deviation of sensing capacitors of first sensing lines connected to the sensing lines; and sensing the characteristic information of the pixels by replacing at least one of the first sensing lines with a second sensing line based on the capacitance deviation.

A display device includes a display panel, a first flexible film, and a second flexible film. The display panel includes a non-display area outside a display area. The first flexible film is attached to a first side surface of the display panel. The second flexible film is attached to a second side surface of the display panel. The display panel includes a signal line, a pad electrode, and a side surface connection electrode. The signal line is in the display area and connects the first and second flexible films. The pad electrode extends from the signal line. The side surface connection electrode is on the first and second side surfaces and directly contacts the pad electrode. The first flexible film and the second flexible film are coupled to the side surface connection electrode and are electrically connected to the signal line.

A display device includes a display panel, a backlight assembly, a back cover and a curve control assembly. The back cover has a curved shape and faces the display panel with the backlight assembly therebetween to cover a back surface of the backlight assembly. The curve control assembly is between the backlight assembly and the back cover to adjust a curved degree of the display panel. The curve control assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, and a rolling unit. The first rail is coupled to the back surface of the backlight assembly, and the second rail is coupled to the back cover to face the first rail. The rolling unit is commonly connected to each of the first rail and the second rail and is movable along the first and second rails to move the display panel in directions toward and away from the back cover.

A display apparatus includes a backlight assembly, a display assembly and a board combining member. The backlight assembly includes a light source generating light and a container receiving the light source. The display assembly includes a display panel received in the container and displaying an image, a driving printed circuit board ('DPCB') disposed on an outer face of the container, and a flexible printed circuit board ('FPCB') connecting the DPCB to the display panel. The board combining member combines the DPCB with the outer face of the container to be capable of moving corresponding to a thermal expansion of the container such that a position of the DPCB with respect to the FPCB is not substantially changed. Thus, the FPCB is prevented from warping due to the thermal expansion of the container.
