An array substrate for a narrow bezel type liquid crystal display device and method of manufacturing the same are provided. The array substrate includes: gate lines (GLs) on a substrate, the substrate including a display area and first to fourth non-display areas at respective sides, pixel regions, a gate insulating layer (GIL) on the GLs, a plurality of data lines on the GIL and crossing the GLs, a plurality of gate auxiliary lines parallel to the data lines and connected to respective GLs, an auxiliary line in the third non-display area with a first layer under the GIL and a second layer on the GIL, the first layer contacting the second layer through a first auxiliary contact hole in the GIL, a thin film transistor in each pixel region and connected to the GLs and data lines, and a pixel electrode connected to each thin film transistor.

Array substrate for narrow bezel type liquid crystal display device and method of manufacturing the same

Fringe field switching (FFS) mode liquid crystal display device and method for fabricating the same, are discussed, the device including a gate line formed in one direction on a surface of a first substrate; a data line formed on the first substrate, and crossed with the gate line to thereby define a pixel region; a thin-film transistor formed on the first substrate, and formed at an intersection of the gate line and the data line; an insulating layer having an opening portion located at an upper portion of the thin-film transistor to expose at least a gate portion of the thin-film transistor; a pixel electrode formed at an upper portion of the insulating layer, and connected to the exposed thin-film transistor; a passivation layer formed at the upper portion of the insulating layer; and common electrodes formed at an upper portion of the passivation layer and separated from one another.

Array substrate for fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device and method for fabricating the same

A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display includes: forming a gate electrode on a substrate; sequentially providing an insulation layer, a semiconductor layer and an etch stopper layer on the gate electrode; patterning the etch stopper layer and the semiconductor layer to form an etch stopper layer pattern and a semiconductor layer pattern; removing both side portions of the etch stopper layer pattern to expose the lower semiconductor layer pattern portion; forming a conductive layer on an entire surface of the substrate; patterning the conductive layer to form source and drain electrodes and defining a channel region; forming a passivation layer having a contact part on the entire surface of the substrate; and forming a pixel electrode connected with the drain electrode via the contact part on the passivation layer. An etch stopper can be used without additionally performing a masking process.

Method for fabricating liquid crystal display device

An organic electroluminescent display device includes: a substrate; a gate line, a data line and a power line on the substrate; a switching element connected to the gate line and the data line; a driving element connected to the switching element, the driving element including a driving drain electrode; a first passivation layer on the switching element and the driving element, the first passivation layer having a first contact hole exposing the driving drain electrode; a first shield pattern under the first contact hole, the first shield pattern including a same material and a same layer as the gate line; a first electrode on the first passivation layer, the first electrode connected to the driving drain electrode through the first contact hole; an organic electroluminescent layer on the first electrode; and a second electrode on the organic electroluminescent layer.
