The present invention is related to method and device for building Wi-Fi radio map. Especially, it is related to device and method for building Wi-Fi radio map that is used to position locating service that utilizes Wi-Fi fingerprints that many, unspecified mobile terminals collect and provide. Specifically, the present invention provides, as methods for estimating position data for AP () using Wi-Fi fingerprints collected by mobile terminals (), 1) method for estimating position data for AP () by linking Wi-Fi fingerprints and time data for collecting Wi-Fi signal, or 2) method for estimating position data for AP () through user address data comparison between Wi-Fi fingerprints without linking signal collection time data to Wi-Fi fingerprints. Accordingly, it has effects of epoch-making economic feasibility compared to prior art that requires huge cost in collecting Wi-Fi fingerprint like war driving.

Method and apparatus for building Wi-Fi radio map

A method of implementing a location-based service within a building is provided. The method includes receiving, from at least one electronic device, a plurality of data sets indicating information of wireless signals which the at least one electronic device measures for each time or for each location within the building; determining a similarity between the plurality of data sets; generating a logical path by integrating similar data sets; and generating a wireless signal map within the building by mapping the logical path to a physical path of the building.

A method for providing a healthcare program service over a wireless communication network includes receiving vital signals for a condition from measurement devices transmitted from multiple users and grouping the received vital signals, registering by a plurality of service providers corresponding healthcare programs classified by particular diseases, providing a healthcare program service to the multiple users, receiving feedback of use satisfaction for the healthcare programs from each user, counting the number of uses and gathering utilization information for each of the healthcare programs. The method further includes searching for a corresponding group of users using each healthcare program, adding up the user satisfactions and utilizations, databasing the results and upon receipt of vital signals for a condition from a particular user, comparing against similar signals and recommending a preferred healthcare program for a corresponding user group having vital signals for the condition.

A method for estimating a location of a mobile device located in means of transportation is provided. The method includes: developing a first database by linking ID information of the means of transportation with ID information of an access point (AP) installed in the means of transportation, the AP being a mobile AP allowing access to a wireless WAN through WiFi; developing a second database by linking ID information of the means of transportation with service information of the means of transportation, the service information including route and timetable information; acquiring WiFi reception information generated by the mobile device equipped with a WiFi module, the WiFi reception information including ID information of an AP transmitting a WiFi signal; extracting the ID information of the means of transportation in which the mobile device is located using the acquired WiFi reception information and the first database; and estimating a location of the mobile device using the extracted ID information of the means of transportation and the second database.

There is provided a magnonic-crystal spin wave device capable of controlling a frequency of a spin wave. The magnonic-crystal spin wave device according to the invention includes a spin wave waveguide made of magnetic material, and the spin wave waveguide guides the spin wave so as to propagate in one direction, and includes a magnonic crystal part which has a cross-section orthogonal to the direction, and at least one of a shape, area size, and center line of the cross-section periodically changes in the direction. In accordance with the invention, it is possible to easily control the frequency of the spin wave using the spin wave waveguide made of single magnetic material.
