A medium for direct differentiation of embryonic stem cell-derived mesenchymal stem cells, a method of preparing mesenchymal stem cells by using the same, mesenchymal stem cells prepared thereby, and a cell therapy product comprising the same mesenchymal stem cells. In a medium composition and in a method according to an embodiments, mesenchymal stem cells may be prepared at high yield within a short period of time. In addition, the method is simple in preparation procedure because of the absence of an embryoid body formation step that allows homogeneous cells to be prepared, thus advantageously providing a cell therapy product within a reduced period of time, compared to conventional methods.

Medium for direct differentiation of pluripotent stem cell-derived mesenchymal stem cell, method for preparing mesenchymal stem cell by using same, and mesenchymal stem cell prepared thereby

Provided are stem cells-induced Serotoli-like cells, methods of preparing the same, and uses thereof. Sertoli-like cells according to one embodiment can be differentiated from embryonic stem cells with excellent proliferative capacity, and thus, can be obtained in large quantities. Also, since the Sertoli-like cells secrete immunosuppressive substances and form immune privilege and induce anti-inflammatory functions, they can be used for development of the cell therapeutic agent.

Stem cell-derived Sertoli-like cell, preparation method therefor, and use thereof

Provided are a storage method and a banking system of cells prepared using somatic cell nuclear transfer (NT) technology with homozygous genotypes of genes of human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A, HLA-B, HLA-DR, and the like. The banking of NT cell-derived stem cells may be applied to autologous or allogenic patients and can provide transplantable cells and tissue materials for the treatment of various diseases such as diabetes, osteoarthritis, Parkinson's disease, and the like.

Storage method and banking system of NT cell

The present invention provides methods and compostions to improve the efficiency of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). There is increasing evidence that the epigenetic state of donor nuclei has a significant impact on potential of nuclear transfer embryos to develop into blastocysts, from which pluripotent stem cells are derived. Strategic application of histone agents, capable of altering epigenetic state such as methylation, allows zygotic activation and robust blastocyst generation.

Nuclear transfer

Immunocompatible pluripotent stem cells (pSCs), which include cells compatible with different patient populations or patient-specific cells, find wide application in regenerative medicine therapies. Described herein are immunocompatible pSCs generated using techniques such as parthenogenesis resulting in cells possessing desired haplotypes of reduced zygosity, antigenically compatible with multiple patient populations, or nuclear transfer allowing generation of patient-specific cells. Methods described herein related to parthenogenesis, nuclear transfer, or pSC cell line generation. Also described herein are compositions of immunocompatible pSCs and cell lines generated by the aforementioned techniques.

Disclosed herein is a meteorological observation system using vehicles. Provided are methods for the vitrification of human oocytes, which comprises: (a) placing human oocytes on a transfer instrument; and (b) placing the transfer instrument and the human oocytes directly into a slushed nitrogen (Nslush), wherein the human oocytes are directly exposed to the Nslush thereby undergoing vitrification, and wherein the human oocytes are able to live for a period of time after the human oocytes are devitrified.

The present invention relates to a method of in vitro spermatogenesis involving Sertoli cells and diploid germ cells from a testis of a male mammal to yield differentiated haploid spermatids. The present invention also relates to spermatids produced by the method described above, where the spermatids are haploid. The present invention also involves a method of overcoming male infertility in mammals involving the use of the haploid round spermatids produced by the in vitro spermatogenesis method of the present invention. The present invention also relates to isolated haploid spermatids.
