Solid state drive packages and related methods and systems

A semiconductor device includes a substrate comprising a stack of alternating wiring layers and insulating layers. The wiring layers include conductive wiring patterns. Primary conductive vias extend through respective ones of the insulating layers and electrically connect first ones of the wiring patterns on different ones of the wiring layers to provide electrical connections between opposing first and second surfaces of the substrate. Dummy conductive vias extend through respective ones of the insulating layers and electrically connect second ones of the wiring patterns on different ones of the wiring layers. The dummy conductive vias are arranged in the substrate around a perimeter of a region including the first ones of the wiring patterns, and the dummy conductive vias and the second ones of the wiring patterns electrically connected thereto have a same electric potential to define an electromagnetic shielding structure within the substrate.

A terminal includes a lower housing; an upper housing slidably installed with respect to the lower housing; and a pressing member with both ends being supported by the lower and upper housings, respectively, for providing variable levels of pressure in diverse directions according to a sliding position of the upper housing with respect to the lower housing, wherein one end of the pressing member is movably linked to the lower housing. The small-sized pressing member provides a maximum level of pressure to facilitate the sliding movement of the upper housing with respect to the lower housing. Thus, space utilization can be improved.

A flexible printed circuit board is robust to a repeated twisting and consists of a minute circuit printed on a flexible insulated material sheet, and has the bent parts of the opposite edges symmetrical in structure. The bent parts are straightened out when twisting occurs. In the flexible printed circuit board, the opposite edges are longer in length than the middle part such that the tensile deformation at the opposite edges at the time of twisting does not occur or is minimized.

A slide opening/closing type mobile device includes a body section including a guide section that has a pair of long holes and is configured so that an interval between the pair of long holes becomes smaller at first, as it goes from one ends towards the other ends of the long holes, and then, becomes larger based on certain starting points; a slider provided with guide rollers movably inserted in the pair of long holes of the guide section in a state of being elastically biased to the outside; a rotation plate rotatably mounted on the slider; and a display section mounted on the rotation plate. The display section is slidable upward and downward with respect to the body section by the slider, and rotates at a predetermined angle by the rotation plate.

A disc centering device includes a base plate, a chuck which is installed on the base plate, a hub unit which is detachably engaged to the chuck and receives discs and spacers to be stacked, disc pushers which are slidably provided outside the hub unit and include corresponding pressure members which center the discs by pushing circumferences of the discs, a driving unit which slides the disc pushers, and biasing units which are slidably provided outside the hub unit and push circumferences of the spacers. Accordingly, by performing a spacer biasing along with a disc centering, the accuracy of a centering is increased, thereby providing the discs having data recorded thereon with a uniform quality. Additionally, vibration of a rotation body can be minimized due to the simple configuration of the disc centering device. Furthermore, the productivity and manufacturability of HDDs are improved in view of the simplified maintenance and repair of the same.

Disc centering device

A disk recording device to manufacture hard disk drives. This disk recording device includes a spindle to detachably hold a disk of a hard disk drive. A spindle motor rotates the spindle. A recording unit records data on a surface of the disk while moving over the surface of the disk held on the spindle. A disk protecting unit covers the surfaces of the disk to protect the disk from an external environment when the disk is rotated. In the disc recording device, the disk protecting unit approaches or moves away from the disk through a reciprocating motion within a predetermined range.
