The configurations of a compensation device configured in a circuit having a synchronous rectifier (SR), a controller and a load, and a compensation method thereof are provided in the present invention. In the proposed circuit, the SR includes a first terminal, a first inductor electrically connected to the first terminal in series, a second terminal and a second inductor electrically connected to the second terminal in series, the controller is coupled to the first and the second inductors, and the device includes a voltage source having a positive terminal coupled to the controller and a negative terminal coupled to the second inductor and providing a compensation voltage to reduce or eliminate the influence of the first and the second inductors towards a voltage value across the first and the second terminals.

Compensation device for synchronous rectifier control and method thereof

A resonant converter and burst mode starting method thereof are provided. The resonant converter includes a converting stage, a transformer to induce the output of converting stage from the primary side to the secondary side, a rectifying stage to rectify the output of the transformer, a filtering and load stage to filter the output of the rectifying stage, and a charge pump circuit coupled to the transformer or the rectifying stage. The charge pump circuit is for raising a voltage level of the filtering and load stage to higher than a predetermined value so that a feedback voltage of the resonant converter varies. The burst mode of the resonant converter is than started in accordance with the variance.

What is concerned is a power supply having a power status indicator, in which the power status indicator is powered by a constant voltage source, such as a constant voltage provided by an auxiliary power supply or a reference voltage provided for the internal control circuitry. Or otherwise, the power status indicator is connected in series with a feedback circuit or a protection circuit of the power supply, and the current-limiting resistor thereof is eliminated. In this way, the power consumption of the power supply under the standby mode is reduced, and the energy utilization of the power supply is enhanced.

The housing has concavities at inner sides thereof, and the circuit board is disposed within the housing. The metal shielding is disposed between the housing and the circuit board and has protrusions at outer sides thereof to match up the concavities of the housing. Thereby, the metal shielding substantially stays close to the housing for allowing the electronic device to dissipate heat uniformly.
