The present invention relates to a radio frequency circuit structure for implementing a function of converting a satellite signal of a global navigation satellite system into a baseband signal. The radio frequency circuit structure comprises a channel dividing function module, a plurality of frequency converting function modules, a plurality of local oscillator signal modules, and a plurality of analog-to-digital convertor modules. The channel dividing function module is used for dividing a satellite signal of the global navigation satellite system received by an antenna into satellite signals in a plurality of channels. Each of the frequency converting function modules is used for performing frequency conversion on the satellite signals in the corresponding channels to form near zero-frequency signals. Each of the local oscillator signal module is used for generating a local oscillator signal and outputting the local oscillator signal to the frequency converting function module. By using the radio frequency circuit structure for implementing a function of converting a satellite signal of a global navigation satellite system into a baseband signal, frequency conversion and follow-up signal processing can be performed on the satellite signals in each frequency band separately, the signal quality insured, a sufficient signal to noise ratio is provided for a baseband processing circuit, thereby providing a wider application range.

Device and method of channel information feedback for multi-cell MIMO

A solution for multiple base station collaborative communication in TDD (Time Division Duplex) and FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) systems is provided. To be specific, a serving base station and coordinating base station transmit detection signals with specific Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) features on one or more communication resources. The mobile station measures the detection signals on the one or more communication resources and generates indication information of the recommended collaborative communication modes based on the measurement results. Preferably the indexes of the time-frequency resources corresponding to the recommended collaborative communication modes are reported to the serving base station. Then the serving base station schedules at least one of the one or more mobile stations according to the indication information reported by the one or more stations and provides MIMO communication manner for the mobile station scheduled. The coverage of the cells is improved, the cell edge user throughput is increased and the inter-cell interference between neighboring base stations is decreased by exploiting the invention. Preferably the amount of uplink feedback information is decreased and the uplink bandwidth is saved.

The present invention provides a correlation-matrix feedback method and system for an antenna array. The method comprises steps of: selecting, at a receiving end, a codeword from a predetermined correlation-matrix codebook comprising a plurality of codewords according to a predetermined criterion to represent a correlation matrix to be fed back (); and feeding back an index of the selected codeword in the predetermined correlation-matrix codebook to a transmitting end (); wherein each codeword is a codeword matrix for approximating a correlation matrix of an antenna array at the transmitting end. According to the present invention, it is possible to take good advantage of the characteristics of closely-spaced ULA antennas and spatial correlation thereof, design a corresponding codebook for quantization and feedback, and reduce feedback overhead and computational complexity so as to improve the system performance of a spatial correlation aided system, such as a MIMO system.

The method comprises the steps of: encoding the audio/video content data into a basic stream having a first level of quality and an advanced stream, combination of the basic stream and the advanced stream has a second level of quality higher than the first level of quality; and transmitting the basic stream and the advanced stream with a first power and a second power lower than the first power on antennas, respectively. With the method and apparatus of the invention, the low SINR users are able to maintain the low data rate receiving the basic stream and the high SINR user can receive both the basic stream and advanced stream from two logical channels.

A method and device for performing Multi-Input Multi-Output transmission to a mobile terminal in the base station devices of a wireless communication system is provided. Each base station device determines the sector coordination group used at a certain frequency band according to system settings. Each base station device only performs multiple-sector (-cell) collaborative MIMO transmission in the sector coordination group which includes the sectors governed by the base station device. A method and apparatus for processing downlink communication and a corresponding assisting method and apparatus are provided. According to an embodiment, a method for assisting a base station in processing downlink communication in a user equipment includes: estimating a downlink channel between the base station and the user equipment; determining a spatial correlation matrix between the base station and the user equipment according to the result of estimating the downlink channel; determining at least one pre-coding vector among a plurality of pre-stored pre-coding vectors based upon the spatial correlation matrix; and notifying the base station about the determined at least one pre-coding vector and spatial correlation matrix. The downlink communication processing disclosed herein improves the performance of a system, improves the average throughput and the throughput of an edge user of the multi-user MIMO system and has a wider applicability scope than the original codebook and feedback mechanism.
