Provided is an application program launching method and system for improving security of an embedded Linux kernel by distributing superuser privileges. The method includes: searching security set information on an application program selected by a user; changing a user account for a processor of the application program to a user ID associated with the application program in the security set information; setting a capability for the processor according to setting information for the capability in the security set information; changing a basic directory for the processor according to a basic directory in the security set information; and launching the application program.

Provided is a method capable of providing an improved response property appropriate for the characteristics of a system by automatically choosing an interrupt handling mode used for each device. The method is a method in which the embedded operating system kernel determines a handling mode for all individual interrupts, the method includes: dividing interrupt handling modes into a first interrupt handling mode and a second interrupt handling mode which has a different process speed from the first interrupt handling mode, and variably determining a distribution ratio in which each of the interrupts are distributed to the first interrupt handling mode or to the second interrupt handling mode according to a predetermined process condition during boot-up.

Provided is a method for transmitting contents with limited system permissions. In the method, a content request is received from a client terminal. A download descriptor is transmitted to the client terminal in response to the content request, the download descriptor including information about the authentication and permission of the client terminal system that can be managed in the contents. A content transmission request is received from the client terminal that has received the download descriptor. Contents are transmitted to the client terminal in response to the content transmission request.
