A display device includes a first substrate, a first electrode on the first substrate, a second electrode on the first substrate and spaced from the first electrode, a plurality of light-emitting elements each having respective end portions on the first and second electrodes, a first transistor having a first end connected to the first electrode and a second end grounded, and a second transistor having a first end connected to the second electrode and a second end grounded, wherein the first transistor is forward-biased to the first electrode, and the second transistor is reverse-biased to the second electrode.

The light-shielding pattern includes a first stepped portion disposed on a side of the open portion and a second stepped portion disposed on another side of the open portion, and the dummy color layer overlaps at least one of the first and second stepped portions.

Liquid crystal display device and method of manufacturing the same

Disclosed herein are an array substrate and a display device including the same. The array substrate includes a base substrate comprising a display area and a peripheral area; a thin-film transistor disposed in the display area of the base substrate; an insulation layer disposed in the display area of the base substrate, the insulation layer comprising a first portion covering the thin-film transistor and a second portion located on the first portion; and a first protruding pattern disposed in the peripheral area of the base substrate, wherein the first portion, the second portion and the first protruding pattern comprise the same material.
