A vacuum cleaner that includes a first cleaner module and a second cleaner module that is removably coupled to the first cleaner module. The first cleaner module includes a first body and a first dust collection unit, and the second cleaner module includes a second body and a second dust collection unit. Thus, when done in an upright mode, cleaning can be done with a sufficiently great suction force. When done in a handy mode after the second cleaner module is separated, cleaning can be easily done using the second cleaner module.

Vacuum cleaner

Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner having a structure for preventing foreign matter from entering between a drum brush and a bearing. A vacuum cleaner includes a suction portion formed with a suction port through which air and foreign matter are sucked. The suction portion includes a housing and a drum brush rotatably provided in the housing. The drum brush includes a rotating drum rotating by receiving a driving force and a brush mounted on the rotating drum. The housing is provided with an annular blocking rib, and the brush located at one end of the drum brush is configured to be accommodated in the blocking rib.

Disclosed herein is a cleaner with improved cleaning efficiency. A cleaner includes a main body having a dust collecting unit and a suction head including a head cover, a base plate having a suction port to suck in foreign substances on a surface to be cleaned and coupled to the head cover, and a brush rotatably provided between the head cover and the base plate, wherein the base plate includes a first inclined portion slantly extending from a front end of the suction port with respect to the surface to be cleaned, and a second inclined portion slantly extending from a rear end of the suction port with respect to the surface to be cleaned, and integrally formed with the first inclined portion.

Cleaner

Disclosed herein is a vacuum cleaner having an improved structure capable of removing hair and foreign substances wound around a drum brush. The vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner main body, a suction brush connected to the cleaner main body and including a suction channel configured to clean a surface to be cleaned by suction force, and a drum brush case provided to be detachable in a forward direction from the suction brush and configured to form an intake port connected to the suction channel.

Disclosed herein is a vacuum cleaner including a first cleaning module to perform a cleaning of a floor and a second cleaning module detachably coupled to the first cleaning module and configured to perform a cleaning in a handheld manner while detached from the first cleaning module, wherein the second cleaning module includes a connecting pipe to deliver inlet force to an inlet of the first cleaning module while connected to the first cleaning module, a handle connected to one side of the connecting pipe, having an inside space, and provided in a shape in which a rear surface thereof is open, a connecting hose connecting the connecting pipe to a dust collector, and a connector having a hose support provided to support the connecting hose, and to connect the connecting pipe to the connecting hose, and the hose support is disposed to support the connecting hose rounded along an inner side of the handle in a state that the connector is coupled to an inside space of the handle.

A nozzle assembly usable with an upright vacuum cleaner, comprising: a nozzle assembly body; a drum brush unit disposed in the nozzle assembly body, the drum brush unit having a drum brush disposed to move dirt or dust adhered to a surface to be cleaned while coming in rotational contact therewith; a subsidiary brush unit disposed in front of the drum brush unit, and the subsidiary brush unit having a subsidiary brush to preliminarily move the dust or dirt adhered to the surface to be cleaned before the drum brush moves the dirt or dust adhered to the surface to be cleaned; and a locking unit disposed to the drum brush unit to selectively fix the subsidiary brush unit to the drum brush unit, wherein the subsidiary brush unit is rotatably connected to the drum brush unit to selectively maintain a contact state or a non-contact state to the surface to be cleaned, and, when the subsidiary brush unit maintains the contact state to the surface to be cleaned, the locking unit fixes the subsidiary brush unit to the drum brush unit.

Nozzle assembly having subsidiary brush unit

A vacuum cleaner that includes an upright main body, an upright fan motor generating a suction force, and a wheel assembly that is mounted on the upright main body and guides movement and rotation of the upright main body. The upright main body includes a first housing that is installed on the wheel assembly so as to be rotatable in a leftward/rightward direction, and a second housing that is installed in the first housing so as to be rotatable in a forward/backward direction. The vacuum cleaner can be moved and rotated by freely moving an extension frame extending upward from the second housing in forward, backward, leftward, and rightward directions.

The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle assembly body; a drum brush unit disposed in the nozzle assembly body, and having a drum brush disposed to brush away dirt or dust adhered to a surface to be cleaned while coming in rotation contact therewith; and a subsidiary brush unit disposed to one of the nozzle assembly body and the drum brush unit, and having a subsidiary brush to preliminarily brush away the dust or dirt adhered to the surface to be cleaned.
