An electrically conductive polymer linked to conductive nanoparticle is provided. The conductive polymer can include conductive monomers and one or more monomers in the conductive polymer can be linked to a conductive nanoparticle and can include a polymerizable moiety so that it can be incorporated into a polymer chain. The electrically conductive monomer can include a 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene as a conductive monomer. The electrically conductive polymer having the conductive nanoparticle can be prepared into an electrically conductive layer or film for use in electronic devices.

Electrically conductive polymers with enhanced conductivity

Water-soluble electrically conductive polymers and a composition comprising such polymers are provided. Also, an electrically conductive layer or film formed from the composition, and articles comprising the electrically conductive layer or film are provided. The electrically conductive polymers according to the present disclosure have one or more hydrophilic side chains. Hydrophilic side chains are covalently bonded to the conductive polymers, which allow the polymer to be stable at high temperature. Thus, the stability of electrical conductivity is prolonged. Depending on the concentration of hydrophilic side chains, the conductivity may be changed. The hydrophilic side chains provide a successful way to fabricate a ductile film exhibiting tunable conductivity. Furthermore, high levels of surface-resistance uniformity can be achieved in the field of coating technology that uses eco-friendly water-based solvents to uniformly and quickly coat the conductive polymer on to plastic film surfaces.

Water-soluble electrically conductive polymers

An agent that is capable of improving dye fastness is provided. The agent includes a compound that includes at least one functional group capable of forming at least one interaction or at least one bond with a fiber or a dye molecule. Also, a method for using the agents to improve dye fastness and a dyed article including the agent are provided.

Agents for improving dye fastness

Nanoparticles can include a core linked to a polymerizable moiety that can be polymerized, cross-linked or cured. The polymerizable nanoparticles can be included in a composition for a polymerization, cross-linking or curing reaction in an amount and disposition sufficient for inhibiting or preventing volume shrinkage during polymerization, cross-linking or curing reaction. Also, the nanoparticles can be included with monomers, dendrimers, oligomers or polymers in the compositions that can be reacted to form a polymerized, cross-linked or cured product.

Photochromic dyes are disclosed. A photochromic dye can include a first photo-reactive group and a second photo-reactive group. A first photochromic reaction can be induced in the first photo-reactive group of the photochromic dye by radiation having a first wavelength, and a second photochromic reaction can be induced in the second photo-reactive group of the photochromic dye by radiation having a second wavelength.

The present invention relates to a stent for protecting a branch blood vessel at a branch-point lesion. The stent is inserted into and widened in a main blood vessel having the branch blood vessel extending in a slant from the branch-point lesion, thereby simultaneously expanding the main blood vessel and providing a smooth flow of blood towards the branch blood vessel. As a result, it is possible to simultaneously expand the main blood vessel and to sufficiently secure a passage from the main blood vessel towards the branch blood vessel. As such, the flow of blood is kept smooth. Further, after the stent is inserted into the main blood vessel, another stent, a guide wire, and related tools and catheter can be inserted in the direction of the branch blood vessel in a more accurate manner.

Photocrosslinkable electrically conductive polymers and compositions including the polymers are provided. Also, electrically conductive layers or films formed from the compositions, preparation methods of these, and articles including the electrically conductive layers or films are provided. The electrically conductive polymers according to the present disclosure have photoreactive groups that can be crosslinked using like. The electrically conductive polymers can also be dissolved in aqueous solution. These photocrosslinkable and soluble properties allow the electrically conductive polymers to be used in wet processing to make films and/or to be made into a patterned conductive layer or film using a photomask.

Photocrosslinkable electrically conductive polymers

Photochromic dyes are disclosed. A photochromic dye can include a first photo-reactive group and a second photo-reactive group. A first photochromic reaction can be induced in the first photo-reactive group of the photochromic dye by radiation having a first intensity, and a second photochromic reaction can be induced in the second photo-reactive group of the photochromic dye by radiation having a second intensity. The second intensity may be greater than the first intensity.

A photorefractive dendron compound, a photorefractive dendrimer compound and applications thereof, and more particularly, a photorefractive dendron compound, including a non-linear chromophore containing a tricyanopyrroline-based electron-withdrawing group and a carbazole derivative having excellent charge transport properties, a method of preparing the photorefractive dendrimer compound, a photorefractive device including the photorefractive dendrimer compound, and a method of manufacturing the photorefractive device. In the photorefractive dendrimer compound, dendron has the non-linear optical chromophore and carbazole introduced thereto to thus impart one molecule with both photoconductivity and non-linear optical properties, thereby solving conventional problems caused by poor compatibility between photoconductive material and chromophores in conventional photorefractive material. The dendrimer compound may be applied to bio-imaging techniques thanks to the use of the non-linear optical chromophore, which is sensitive to near infrared light.
