Discussed is a battery diagnosing apparatus that can include a resistance measuring unit configured to measure an internal resistance of each of a plurality of battery modules including one or more battery cells, and a control unit configured to receive resistance information about the internal resistance of each of the plurality of battery modules from the resistance measuring unit, calculate a first criterion resistance and an absolute deviation between the first criterion resistance and the internal resistance, convert the calculated absolute deviation into a resistance deviation for the plurality of battery modules based on the resistance information, set a first resistance section based on the calculated first criterion resistance and the calculated resistance deviation, select a part of the plurality of battery modules as a target module based on the resistance information, and calculate a second criterion resistance for the target module based on the resistance information.

Battery diagnosing apparatus and method

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for diagnosing a state of a battery pack, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for diagnosing a state of a battery pack based on a SOC of a battery module included in the battery pack. According to the present disclosure, since the SOC of the battery module corresponding to an induced abnormal situation is estimated and the state of each battery module is diagnosed based on the estimated SOC, a risk factor that may occur in the battery module may be diagnosed in advance.

Apparatus and method for diagnosing state of battery pack

An apparatus for diagnosing a state of a battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a charging and discharging assembly for charging or discharging a battery module; a measurer for measuring a current of the battery module at every predetermined period during a cycle in which the battery module is charged or discharged; and a controller for receiving a measurement value for the current of the battery module from the measuring unit, estimating a state of charge (SOC) of the battery module during the cycle based on the received measurement value, calculating a change rate of the estimated SOC, and determining whether a defect occurs in the battery module based on a comparison result between the calculated change rate of the SOC and a preset reference change rate.

Apparatus and method for diagnosing state of battery

A battery management apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a voltage measurer for measuring a voltage of a battery module and output a measured voltage value; a current measurer for measuring a charging current of the battery module and output a measured current value; and a controller for receiving the measured voltage value and the measured current value, estimating a state of charge (SOC) of the battery module based on the measured voltage value and the measured current value, calculating an accumulated change rate by adding up a change rate of the estimated SOC per unit time, and detecting whether the battery module has a defect by comparing the calculated accumulated change rate with a reference change rate.

A battery management apparatus according to the present disclosure may include a sensing unit detachably mounted to a battery system and configured to measure a voltage of a cell assembly included in a battery pack, which is electrically connected to another battery pack in parallel, when being mounted to the battery system; a balancing circuit having a balancing resistor connected to a charging and discharging path of the cell assembly in parallel and a balancing switch for electrically connecting or disconnecting the cell assembly and the balancing resistor; and a processor operably coupled to the sensing unit and the balancing circuit.

The scenario creation unit creates a scenario of a virtual user on the virtual map. The load generation unit generates a load by creating packet data corresponding to the virtual user in compliance with the game grammar and the scenario.
