A drawer-type all-in-one card connector includes a housing defining an insertion chamber; a plurality of card contact terminals; a sliding box slidably mounted in the insertion chamber of the housing and having a card receiving chamber for receiving one of memory cards of different specifications and a plurality of terminal slots accommodating the card contact terminals for contact with the memory card inserted into the card receiving chamber; and a cover covered on the housing, a first ejection spring stopped between the housing and the sliding box, a limiter provided between the housing and the sliding box for guiding movement of the sliding box relatively to the housing in course, and adapter means electrically connected between a circuit board and the card contact terminals of the sliding box.

Drawer-type all-on-one card connector

A card connector includes a base having an opening at a front end thereof, two guide channels at bilateral sides inside, and a plurality of terminals mounted at a rear end thereof; at least one movable member movably mounted in the guide channels and having a stopping portion and a bevel formed at upper and lower sides of a front end thereof; a stopping plate pivotably mounted to the base for pivoting movement between a stopping position and a releasing position. While the stopping plate is located at the stopping position, the movable member engages to lock the stopping plate. While the movable member is close to the guide channel, the movable member releases the lock-up status. At least one resilient member is provided for generating resilience keeping movement of the stopping plate toward the stopping position. Therefore, the card connector allows/blocks the normally/erroneously inserted card.

Card connector capable of avoiding erroneous insertion of electronic card

A terminal-protective card connector includes a shell and a pressing member. The shell includes at least two groups of terminals mounted to the shell. The second group of terminals each have a part elastically rising upward and backward. The pressing member includes a plurality for elongated slots formed therein and a plurality of pressing points each defined under a front end of each elongated slot. The pressing member is provided with two ends pivotally mounted in the shell for pivoting movement. One group of terminals extends through bottom sides and then top sides of the elongated slots respectively, having a part contacting against and supporting the pressing points to enable the pressing member to rise for a predetermined height. Thus, a specific group of terminals can be optionally pressed to avoid deformation or short circuit resulted from impact of or contact with uncorresponding cards to be protected.

Terminal-protective card connector

A dual-slot card connector includes a flat base having a first insertion slot and a second insertion slots partly overlapping and communicating with each other for receiving different cards, and a pair of the receiving grooves and a pair of the first retaining portions; a movable plate mounted to the overlap of the first and second insertion slots and movably mounted in the receiving grooves and having a main body, a pair of receiving portions mounted to bilateral sides of the main body, a pair of second retaining portions in connection with the first retaining portions, and a plurality of terminal tunnels formed on the main body; a pair of springy strips mounted on the base and contacting against the movable plate; a cover shell covered on the base; and a plurality of contact terminals mounted on the base and partly received in the terminal tunnels.
