Object of the present invention is to provide a drum type washing machine having a new drain system, which can eliminate inconvenience of user to squat down for mounting/dismounting a drain filter, and damage to electric components following overflow of washing water during water supply. The apparatus simplifies assembly processes, enhances a mass production characteristic, and simplifies a service performance by improving a motor supporting structure and thereby enabling assembly/disassembly of a motor without disassembling a drum.
