A toner process comprising mixing a colorant dispersion with a latex, a wax dispersion, and a coagulant, and wherein the polymer latex selected possesses a weight average molecular weight of from about 20,000 to about 55,000, a number average molecular weight of from about 5,000 to about 18,000, an onset glass transition temperature Tg of from about 40&#xb0; C. to about 80&#xb0; C., and a particle size distribution PSD of from about 50 to about 500 nanometers.

Toner processes

A toner process comprising mixing a colorant dispersion with a latex, a wax dispersion, and a coagulant, and wherein the polymer present in the latex possesses a gel content of from about 0.5 to about 4.5 weight percent, a polymer melt flow index (MFI) of from about 20 to about 45 grams/10 minutes at about from about 115&#xb0; C. to about 145&#xb0; C., the crosslinking molecular weight Mof the polymer being from about 12,000 to about 200,000, and the crosslinking density Mof the polymer being from about 1.2&#xd7;10to about 2&#xd7;10/Kmole.

An imaging process which comprises (1) charging an imaging member in an imaging apparatus; (2) creating on the member a latent image comprising areas of high, intermediate, and low potential; (3) developing the low areas of potential with a first developer comprising carrier particles and a first negatively charged toner comprised of resin, the magenta pigment 2,9-dimethyl quinacridone, a charge additive, or a mixture of charge additives, and surface additives; (4) developing the high areas of potential with a second developer comprising carrier particles and a second black toner comprised of resin, pigment, and a charge enhancing additive that enables a positively charged toner; (5) transferring the resulting developed image to a substrate; and (6) fixing the image thereto.
