A dosing and mixing apparatus for fluid media comprising at least one delivery element and one isolating element. These elements are provided with through-flow or transfer passages and dosing chambers suitably mutually arranged for accomodating and isolating a voluminized specimen quantity or measured dose of test specimen as well as for delivering this measured out dose of test specimen to and mixing this dose of test specimen with a measured dose of thinning agent. The dosing and mixing apparatus manifests itself in that at least one channel suitably associated with the dosing chamber is provided in a surface of one of the elements, such as the isolating element at the surface thereof which faces the delivery element. Each such channel communicates with through-flow openings or circulation passages and is traversed by a cleansing fluid wetting the mutually facing and touching surfaces of the individual delivery and isolating elements in the transport path of the dose of test specimen.

Dosing and mixing apparatus for fluid media

A printer device for the individual feed of pre-printed sheets or tickets through a sheet guide channel to a printer platen of an associated printer comprises at least two sensors. The at least two sensors are connected to the inputs of a control processor which processes the electrical states of the sensors. The outputs LINE FEED and SELECT of this control processor are conducted to inputs of the SELECT and LINE FEED function input circuits of the associated printer. Commercially available printers can be converted into specialized printers for data recording or for filling in pre-printed forms without substantial modification by employing this device.

An apparatus for the detachable connection of an axially to-and-fro movable piston of a syringe with a piston rod or plunger, comprising at least two holder brackets arranged in mutually spaced relationship from one another at the piston plunger and formed of a spring wire, detachably secured with said piston plunger. Each holder bracket essentially comprises two respective axially extending webs and a connection element or piece arranged transversely with respect to said webs. The piston of the syringe possesses a headpiece formed as a substantially truncated cone and equipped with a contact edge engaged by said connection pieces.

Apparatus for the detachable connection of a piston with a piston plunger

A syringe for injecting liquids into blood vessels of living bodies comprising a cylinder equipped at one end with an attachment flange and at the other end with a catheter connection. A piston insertable into the cylinder and having a sealing ring arranged in a groove. Between the sealing ring and the inner wall of the cylinder there is arranged a substantially L-shaped slide ring operatively connected with the piston. This slide ring sealing bears by means of a first leg at the inner wall of the cylinder and by means of a second leg in a channel or recess which is parallel to the aforesaid groove. A substantially cylindrical shoulder extending from the channel up to an inclined portion of the tip of the piston extends at least to the center or center line of the deformed sealing ring.
