A generator system includes an electrical generator; a generator casing disposed around the electrical generator; at least one rail structure axially disposed on an outer surface of the generator casing; at least one adaptor plate coupled to the rail structure, the adaptor plate including a substantially rectangular shape. The adaptor plate includes: at least one rabbet feature; and a plurality of bolt holes disposed therethrough. The generator system includes at least one structural foot coupled to the adaptor plate.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for controlling key bar movement in a stator assembly are provided. According to one embodiment, a stator assembly is provided that includes multiple core ring compression bands longitudinally spaced apart and disposed around a stator core having a plurality of key bars radially spaced apart and extending longitudinally along a peripheral edge of the stator core. Each of the core ring compression bands can be formed from multiple semi-circular sections coupled to form the respective core ring compression band. Each of the key bars can be disposed within respective cutouts defined in an inner edge of the core ring compression bands.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for controlling key bar movement in a stator assembly

Section plates in a generator frame are spaced longitudinally or axially one from the other and have ventilation openings for flowing a cooling gas. The ventilation openings comprise in each section plate a plurality of alternating right-side-up and upside-down triangles extending across the bottom of the section plate. The bases of the triangular openings are formed by the housing or wrapper plate enabling free flow unbounded by additional ligaments through the openings in the section plate, reducing the pressure drop and windage losses, while increasing machine efficiency.
