A method in a wireless communication device includes detecting, with one or more control circuits actuation of the user interface actuator. The one or more control circuit can then determine whether the wireless communication device is disposed at a first predefined location, such as a first receiver of a wireless communication device accessory or a second predefined location. Where the wireless communication device is disposed at the first predefined location, the one or more control circuits can cause a wireless communication circuit to enter a first mode of operation, which can be a searching pairing mode of operation. Where the wireless communication device is disposed at the second predefined location, the one or more control circuits can cause the wireless communication circuit to enter a second mode of operation, which can be a listening pairing mode of operation.

Methods, systems, and devices for pairing wireless communication devices

A wireless communication device can include one or more control circuits, a wireless communication circuit, and an audio output device. The one or more control circuits can receive audio source information identifying an audio source from a paired wireless communication device, and can detect whether the paired wireless communication device is within a communication radius. Where it is, the wireless communication device can receive single-channel audio information from the paired wireless communication device for delivery to the audio output device. However, where it is not, the wireless communication device can connect to the audio source using the audio source information, receive multi-channel audio information from the audio source, and deliver the multi-channel audio information to the audio output device.

A multi band antenna system () and a wireless communication device are disclosed. The multi band antenna system provides coverage over multiple frequency bands. The multi band antenna system comprises a ground surface, a first conductor (), a second conductor (), a common feed conductor () coupled to the first conductor and the second conductor, and a ground conductor () coupled to the first conductor and the second conductor. The first conductor has a first physical length operationally equal to a half wavelength in a first RF band and operationally equal to a full wavelength in a second RF band. The second conductor has a second physical length operationally equal to a half wavelength in a third RF band.
