Dynamic compression device

An apparatus for guiding the migration of cancer and other cells includes a reservoir device, a cover, a tube, a nanofiber structure, and a lock device. The reservoir device defines a reservoir having an open top. The cover is configured for removable installation over the open top of the reservoir. The tube has a proximal end portion reaching into the reservoir. The nanofiber structure communicates an inlet port in the tube with the reservoir. The lock device interlocks the tube with the reservoir device, and also interlocks the nanofiber structure with the reservoir device.

Bi-directional access to tumors

A compression device may include, but is not limited to, a threaded body, a sliding element, and a compression element connecting the threaded body and the sliding element. According to one embodiment, upon implantation, the threaded body contacts a first bony fragment and the sliding element contacts to a second bony fragment. In at least one embodiment, upon being engaged, the compression element applies sustained tension to the sliding element and opposing tension to the threaded body, thereby compressing the first bony fragment and the second bony fragment along a plane of contact promoting healing.

Dynamic compression devices and processes for making and using same

An oxygen generator includes a stationary unit and a portable unit. The portable unit includes a compressor, molecular sieves, controllable valves and an enriched gas storage chamber. The stationary unit includes a compressor having a greater capacity than a capacity of the portable compressor.
