Quick-change system for a sweep comprising a sweep with a neck and a removable wedge, wherein the neck serves to couple the sweep to a cultivator shank and comprises an inner surface with at least one lug that fits in at least one hole of the cultivator shank, and side flaps configured to clasp the cultivator shank, the removable wedge being inserted between the side flaps and the cultivator shank and holding the cultivator shank against the inner surface of the neck, so that the combination of the lug fitted in the hole of the cultivator shank and the removable wedge inserted in the neck makes it possible to retain and fasten the sweep to the cultivator shank.

Quick-change system for a sweep

A wavy disc blade is provided. The wavy disc blade includes a first side, a second side, a central portion having at least one opening, and a wavy portion adjacent to, extending radially from and circumferentially about the central portion. The wavy portion includes a plurality of waves extending from the central portion to an edge portion, the waves forming a plurality of crests and valleys between the central portion and the edge portion. The wavy disc blade also includes a plurality of teeth formed along the edge portion. At least one of a first beveled portion may be formed on the first side at and along the edge portion and a second beveled portion may be formed on the second side at and along the edge portion.

An implement has a tongue used to tow the implement that can be raised or lowered with respect to the rest of the implement. The tongue is raised or lowered by a hydraulic cylinder. The raising and lowering ports of the cylinder are connected to two hydraulic accumulators to permit the tongue to flex up or down while the implement is towed through the field. These accumulators are disconnected from the cylinder when the wings of the implement are lifted and the implement is towed over the road to prevent the implement from oscillating backwards and forward about an axis defined by its wheels.

The implement comprises a shank having a free-end portion; a one-piece adapter defining a recess, wherein the adapter is removably affixed to the shank free-end portion; a one-piece shovel; and an elastomeric element frictionally removably retained within the recess of the adapter.
