Disclosed is a clamping device for securing and clamping work-piece quickly and efficiently. The clamping device includes an elongated slide bar; a first support assembly and a second support assembly. The first support assembly affixed at a proximal end portion of the elongated slide bar includes a first body portion, and a first clamping member. The second support assembly includes a second body portion, a second clamping member configured on the second body portion, and a locking mechanism configured on the second body portion. The second body portion is slidably coupled to the elongated slide bar for assuming a plurality of positions with respect to the first body portion. The first clamping member and the second clamping member are positioned in a spaced apart relationship for abuttingly clamping the work-piece there between to assume a clamped position of the plurality of positions.

Clamping device

A combined microwave and self-cleaning oven has a choke surrounding the oven liner with the opening of the choke cavity adjacent the lip of the liner. The choke cavity has a rib at each of several groundpoints to trap air within the cavity. This trapped air thermally insulates the oven liner lip region so that pyrolytic self-cleaning of the oven can be accomplished without the aid of a mullion heater. For best electrical effectiveness, the choke groundpoints are preferably spaced a distance of between one-half and one wavelength.

Apparatus for varying microwave power level is included in a microwave oven. The microwave oven includes a magnetron for producing microwaves used for heating and a half-wave voltage doubler for supplying half-wave pulsating DC voltage to the magnetron. In order to vary voltage and thus power output of the magnetron, the charging of the capacitor in the half-wave voltage doubler is controlled by a variable resistance connected in series with the rectifier in the otherwise conventional half-wave voltage doubler.

A self cleaning dental mirror apparatus utilizing the fluid dynamic properties of water and air to siphon the water across the reflective surface by air pressure through nozzle flanges surrounding a portion of the rim of the mirror surface, thus allowing the dentist free and continuous use of the dental mirror apparatus without interference from debris, mist and sprays normally produced in everyday dental operations. The apparatus is adaptable to standard dental consoles with means to regulate, measure and control all fluids separately or simultaneously and to provide a regulating means to control the amount of surface tension reducer operating through the water system.
